Illinois State Senator Roland Burris is trying today to take his seat in the United States Senate after he was appointed by embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

He was denied entry.

Burris' story connects directly to 2009, Barack Obama and the 111th Congress in a fascinating way.

Roland Burris has a 31/4 Life Purpose and is currently in a 22/4 Personal Year. Barack Obama was born on a 4 Day and had his 22/4 Personal Year in 2008.

Notice that the 22/4 cycle activates one of the important numbers in each of their Personal Numerology Blueprints. For Burris this is a good sign.

Except for one thing.

His current name 'Roland Burris' is a 29/11 in the Ancient Chaledean system. If that number seems familiar - Barack Obama has a 29/11 Life Purpose Number.

However, 29/11 isn't a great vibration to have for a current name. It can create division, as we see happening right now. Burris will always feel a sense of uncertainty and will have to watch his back. Untrustworthy friends can be a challenge. I would never recommend a 29/11 name to my clients.

On another note, Burris has a 10/1 Destiny, again mirroring Barack Obama, the man he is trying to replace. Obama and Burris also share the number 3, a great number for any politician since it indicates the power of self expression.

All in all, Obama and Burris have four numbers in common.

Roland Burris is trying join the 111th Congress convening today - during an 11 Universal Year.

111 is a very powerful number. Both Henry Kissinger and the Ayatollah Khomeini have 111 Destiny Numbers. With power must come wisdom otherwise great division will result. 2009, an 11 Universal Year, ensures that the 111th U.S. Congress will be tested.

I was forced to take a break from the internet over the holidays while visiting Clay's family near Lake Tahoe. We had a great time.

My respite allowed me the quiet and space to understand the significance of our current year - 2009.

What struck me immediately about 2009 is that it reduces to 11 and 2 and so ties in directly with our new millennium - the 2000s.

To understand 2009 let's backtrack a bit, We can see that 2008 added up to 10/1 and connected to our last century, the 1900s.

The 1900s brought change. Old ways were no longer useful. New discoveries created a much better quality of life for many - amazing progress in science, manufacturing, new materials and ways for building homes, new inventions, the spirit of adventure by air - including explorations in outer space all characterized this 10/1 cycle. Competitiveness, leadership, original thought and a singular approach were the norm.

Every cycle places a magnifying glass on a set of numbers and asks you to adjust. When certain requirements are not followed, challenges result.

In the 1900s wanting to be 'Number 1' was taken to extremes at various times and with various leaders - the world experienced two world wars, strife and struggles for supremacy.

Fast-forward to last year, also a 10/1 Universal Year.

2008 was the FIRST year in the FIRST 9-year cycle in our new millennium. In 2008 the old really began to crumble. Outdated approaches on Wall Street and in government were exposed.

Now we are in a New Year. One that adds up to 11 and reduces to 2.

The key words to the 2000s and 2009 are 'balance and peaceful coexistence.' Those who connect to compassion and have a spiritual purpose will feel much more comfortable. If you accept the mystery, wisdom and great sensitivity of this cycle - if you communicate with your heart, your intuition - you will thrive.

Those who refuse to connect with others in a peaceful, spiritual way will slowly lose their hold.

During any 2 cycle you want to guard against conceit and making wrong choices. And this year we will be prompted to adjust to the 2 cycle with an 11 twist. 11 is a gateway and prompts you to make a choice. You can walk through the two pillars into the unknown on the other side and keep growing, just like a plant grows toward the sun.

Or you can ignore the presence of this 11 gateway and decide to keep on doing things as before. Any stubborn attachment to past, outdated thoughts and actions will result in imbalance. These people will be on shaky ground.

Spiritual ideas have often been scorned in the world of business and politics. However, those days are waning.

All of us will be asked to set aside our differences and communicate heart to heart. The quality of the peaceful, loving 2 demands it.

Cooperation and communication, keywords for Number 2, are greatly enhanced by the wonders of the world wide web. Networking helps us understand and transcend our differences. This very newsletter, online video, emails, internet communities, podcasts - all give us all an amazing opportunity to connect in a profoundly meaningful way.

Some of you have asked for my predictions. In a few days I will share the trends and possibilities expected for important leaders and countries.

However, All of us will be placed in situations where we will be asked to use our intuition much more actively. Reaching out to others, neighbors, friends, and strangers as a result of this year's events will be important in order for you to remain happy, safe and at peace.

You will be asked to trust and to LISTEN to your HEART.

You will have experiences where you'll know - 'I've seen the Light.' In fact choosing light over darkness will be a test for everyone this year. 'Light' happens to reduce to 11/2 in the Pythagorean System of Numerology. So does the word 'Relationship.' Both words are very important during 2009.

In 2009 you have an amazing opportunity to release shackles that have been perceived as 'necessary evils' for centuries. And some, especially young people, will act to change the system.

Will the waking up come from major Earth changes, as some are predicting?

That's certainly possible. This quest for balance, whether for the Earth or in politics and religion will be felt everywhere.

The challenge in an 11 cycle is to see beyond divisions. To transcend those ideas which separate us from one another and move towards communication and peace.

Expect 2009 to be transformative and exciting. Invigorating and an eye-opener. And an unprecedented opportunity for peace.

What a year it's been! Change, surprises, transition, dismantling of the old, independence and more change - a memorable 365 days.

The date that stands foremost in my mind is 8.8.08.

On August 8 three big stories made the headlines. Senator and Presidential Candidate John Edwards admitted he lied about his affair with Rielle Hunter. That one took most of the headlines.

Earlier that same day, Georgia and Russia began a war. As for who invaded who remains open to question.

Then there were the 2008 Olympics. Or should I say, then there was Michael Phelps. Either way, the number 8 was magnified.

The Olympics began at 8:08:08 pm on 8.8.08. Michael Phelps won his breathtaking 8 Gold Medals. This incredible athlete showed the world why he is the master of overcoming obstacles. His Destiny Number is the Master Number 88.

2008 will best be known for Barack Obama's historic win as the 44th President of the United States. 44 reduces to 8 and since 8 symbolizes m'oney, leapfrogging challenges with confidence and infinite resources - it makes sense that the economy is first and foremost on the agenda.

Obama has a 10/1 Destiny Number. 2008 was a 10/1 Universal Year. 1 represents something new and 10 the ability to manifest your ideas and goals with originality and independence.

As we complete the first 1 Year of our new millennium we can look back and see another key word for the number 1 - change.

Everything is a-changing, and this momentum will continue. 2009 after all reduces to 11, a double 1. There is much to look forward to this coming year.

Saturday we drove 836 miles from Arizona to the foothills of the Sierra Mountains west of Lake Tahoe.

We're visiting with Claire's grandparents and some of Clay's siblings. Internet access is very sporadic, so I'm sending a short note for now.

During our long drive news broke about Israel's air strikes in Gaza.

Gaza is a name that adds up to a very telling number. In fact, the meaning of Gaza's name is stunning.'Gaza' is a 12/3 in the ancient Chaldean system. 12 is what the ancients referred to as the 'Victim' number.

Many also call this part of the world the 'Gaza Strip.' Amazingly 'Gaza Strip' ALSO adds up to 12/3. A double dose of the number 12 is never recommended.

As it happens, December 2008 is a 13/4 Universal Month indicating transformation and sudden events. Add a 9 to any number and it will reduce the same single digit. So, on December 27th, the day the strikes began, we had a 22/4 Universal Day.

As it happens, 'Palestine' is a 35/8 name. This combination of names and dates is definitely challenging. It explains the sudden and fateful nature of this latest outbreak between Israel and the Palestinians.

Interestingly, Gaza can also be spelled 'Ghazzah.' This 29/11 name indicates a gateway. Though division is more often the result.

Israel's name number is 15/6 and is considered fortunate - UNLESS it is combined with 4s and 8s. So Israel has to be vigilant about specific dates and names. The fact that Israel began the current outbreak of violence on 12/27/2008, a 22/4 Day in a 13/4 Month, certainly indicates challenges.

Luckily names are never written in stone. For example, if we spelled 'Gazzah' instead of 'Gaza' the result would be much more fortunate than any of the other versions.

The same goes for ANY name.

Clay just handed me an article on the quirkiest stories of the year. He pointed to one paragraph.

Supposedly the tv series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' has inspired enough books to fill 15 feet of bookshelves at one university. That's a lot of books.

Not surprisingly the title of this series adds up to a fantastic number - the fabulous 27/9. Both 'Michael Phelps' and 'Madonna' have 27/9 names.

A wonderful angel story appeared in the news recently. It turns out to be an amazing numbers' story as well.

Chelsea Banton, a girl who was born five weeks prematurely was given 36 hours to live. Many illnesses, years and hospital stays later Chelsea was admitted in September as a 14 year-old for what seemed like a bad cold. Then one complication after another took its toll on Chelsea's fragile body.
 
Her family made a decision to take her off the breathing machine and did so on November 1.

Chelsea lingered for a few days and doctors placed an oxygen mask on her. Before removing that mask family and friends gathered one last time on the afternoon of November 5.

As they prayed about their decision to let her go, a nurse called Chelsea's mother Colleen over. She pointed to the TV monitor screen showing the entrance into the pediatric intensive care unit. Something very unusual had appeared.

A miraculous apparition of an angel of light appeared on the screen. You can see the picture Colleen took here.

Colleen describes a feeling of peace enveloping her after witnessing this apparition. Chelsea's oxygen mask was removed.

Doctors were stunned when suddenly Chelsea's stats reversed course. They were better than ever. Instead of dying, Chelsea went home on November 17. She turned 15 on Christmas Day.

There's a beautiful and fascinating numbers' story being told here as well.

November 5, 2008, the day the family gathered to remove her oxygen mask, was a 17/8 Universal Date. 17 is the number of Immortality and 8 is the number of overcoming obstacles. 8 signifies strength, power, and eternal life. That's the date the angel appeared.

Then, on November 17 Chelsea went home. So the power and strength of this number was confirmed yet again.

There is one more location the number 17 can be used to help Chelsea.

One reason Chelsea has had her fill of sudden events is the combination of her 25/7 Day of Birth and her current name.

Her name "Chelsea Banton" adds up to 13/4 - a number symbolizing the death of the old and birth of the new, transformation and sudden events. Combined with her day of birth, the 25th, we have a situation indicating she will be tested many times.

I suggest she change the spelling of her name to 'Chelsee Banton'. That will give her a powerful and fortunate 17/8 name. This spelling would give her the strength she needs to leapfrog any future challenges.

Other people with a 17/8 current name are Barack Obama, Paul Newman, Michelle Obama, Reagan and the words "Life", "Music" and "Earth." All leave an immortal legacy.

And yes, the word "Angel" also resonates to 17/8.

Whether you believe in angels or not, the joy and love emanating from this remarkable event warms our hearts.

It's been cold around the U.S. Surprising snow in Galveston, Texas and New Orleans last week. Ice storms and blizzards in New England and the Midwest. Snow in Las Vegas and Southern California.

Surprising events are to be expected in a 13/4 Universal Month like we have now in December.

Other surprises are coming in both politics and Wall Street. I've already written about the Rod R. Blagojevich saga, which is long from over.

Another surprise I've talked about is Caroline Kennedy's sudden interest in public service. Two weeks ago on my radio show I revealed how awesome her current cycles are and predicted she has a great chance to get Hillary Clinton's Senate seat.

Now that possibility seems to be coming true.

Here's another New York story that's been in the news. Bernard Madoff.

Let's start with his current name. He's known as 'Bernie Madoff' and 'Bernard Madoff.' Bernard Madoff adds up to 53/8 showing how he could amass a fortune. 'Bernie Madoff' is a 52/7 - the same hugely challenging number that 'Rod R. Blagojevich adds up to. This combo is highly explosive.

On top of that, he's in a 25/7 Personal Year right now. The 25/7 activates his 52/7 name even more. Consider that Blago just turned 52 and has a 52/7 name. See how these numbers relate to each other.

Here's Madoff, the former head of NASDAQ, ripping off very wealthy individuals and businesses around the world.

I figured I'd find some numbers indicating Madoff knows how to put on an act. As it turns out he has a 9 Life Purpose and a 9 Destiny. First of all, a Double 9 often indicates abundance as well as leadership. But it also explains how his success inflated his Ego.

As Madoff amassed more and more wealthy banks, corporations and high powered individuals as clients and 'invested' their funds - Madoff's ego grew at an alarming rate.

Then he also has two 6s and a 3 in his Personal Numerology Blueprint. This explains how he was able to put on such a good show.

Five of his six birth numbers are on the emotional and feeling side. This is what performers thrive on. No wonder he's been called one of the best social networkers in America.

It takes some good acting chops to be a con man. Madoff has the numbers to support his Ponzi scheme.

Amazingly, the FDIC knew about his scheme. They received several tips about Madoff. Including a tip from a client of mine who pulled out investments in 2003 after her firm could not obtain an audit. The FDIC chose not to do anything. For decades. This is because it's very common on Wall Street to act like Madoff did.

Consider that Bernard Madoff's scheme was completely sanctioned by banks and brokerage firms.

The Security and Exchange Commission has been protecting crooks. Of course, part of the open-ended bailout funds provided by you and me are going to help these people and their corporations.

I just read that Bernard Madoff's wife Ruth is now under investigation as well. I'm not surprised. Her current name is challenging too.

'Ruth Madoff' adds up to 13/4 in the ancient Chaldean system. Though it signifies genius, this name number also guarantees sudden and fateful events.

Clay and I went to see 'Australia' on Saturday. We both really enjoyed the sweeping vistas and storyline.

The star of the film isn't Nicole Kidman, but Brandon Walters, the boy who plays Nullah. His words 'I will sing you to me,' are a gem and bring tears to my eyes as I'm writing this to you. What a beautiful actor.

Watch out for him. His name 'Brandon Walters' adds up to 14/5 - the Media Number.

'Australia' isn't doing too well at the box office in the U.S., considering expectations for this epic movie. I'm not surprised. As I said on my radio show in November, the combination of the release date and the name number would make things challenging for this movie.

 'Australia' adds up to 22/4 in the ancient Chaldean system I use for current names. The release date on November 26th creates a fateful 4 and 8 relationship for this film.

No matter what the numbers say about it's success, I do give the film a thumbs up.

On that same radio show I said that the sci-fi classic 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' would most likely do well. And it fared better than expected on its opening weekend. Critics gave this remake horrible reviews. But this movie has an important asset - a great name number.

Even though it was released on a so-so day, December 12, the name 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' adds up to the fabulous 36/9. In fact, the 12 Day reduces to 3 and activates the 3-6-9 trilogy in 36/9.

Goes to show you a good name helps a movie, even when that film is a remake.

Coming up on Friday are three films being released on December 19, an amazing date. The first is Will Smith's 'Seven Pounds', a 12/3 name - not recommended. But the fantastic release date could help.

Also released this Friday will be the animated family feature 'The Tale of Despereaux.' This film has a double 23 going for it. Both the name and the full date add up to 23/5 - 'The Royal Star of the Lion'. Combined with the marvelous 19 Day I predict this movie will do really well.

Finally, Jim Carrey's movie 'Yes Man' has a wonderful 10 name. It happens to tie in beautifully with the December 19 Day which also reduces to 10 - the Instant Manifestation Number.

Director James Cameron has a knack for picking great titles. His upcoming 'Avatar', to be released next December on a date that adds up to 23/5, has a wonderful name as well. Eleven years ago the highest grossing film ever, Cameron's 'Titanic', was released on December 19, 1997. That's a marvelous 19 Day and 36/9 Date. The name 'Titanic' also adds up to 19 triggering an amazingly fortunate recipe of numbers.

Names and numbers definitely affect everyone and everything. Most folks, including those in Hollywood, don't even realize it. If they paid more attention to numbers, their projects would really benefit.

What I have been seeing in the last few months is that good numbers work, not matter what the economy is saying.

Yesterday afternoon a friend called me from Australia. She asked me if I knew about the Grand Cross happening in the skies today.

I had heard about it a few weeks back, and asked her to elaborate. She said the planets Uranus, Saturn and Sun/Mars formed a cross with the full moon. This year's last and largest full moon happens on December 12, 2008, at 21ºGemini.

That's three 3s - the 12th of the 12th at 21º. 3 times 3 equals 9, the humanitarian number.

Today's full moon is larger than others. Due to its close proximity to Earth, the Moon is up to 30% brighter than lesser full Moons we've seen earlier in 2008.

As for today's date - 12.12.2008 - it adds up to 16/7, making it a memorable day. We'll experience the gamut - from feeling deeply spiritual to the possibility of sudden events.

The 12.12 also ties into 2012. A sense of anticipation hangs in the air - related to the economy, Barack Obama's impending Presidency and the strong sense that the world as we knew it is changing rapidly.

12 is a very significant number indicating knowledge and wisdom.

We have 12 hours in a clock, 12 months, 12 grades in school, the 12 apostles, Jacob's 12 sons who created the 12 tribes of Israel, 12 days of Christmas, 12-step programs, a dozen, 12 signs in the Zodiac, the Chinese 12 year cycles, 12 musical notes in an octave, 12 ribs in the body, 12 people in a U.S. jury, 12 inches in a foot.

You can divide 12 six times using numbers 1,2,3,4 and 6.

2008 is the first year in the first 9-year cycle of the new millennium. Everything feels new - and that can mean uncertainty. Take time for yourself today and throughout December. There are many changes to digest and new directions to rest up for.

Yesterday the world learned of another corrupted Chicago politician - Illinois Governor Rod R. Blagojevich.

Here's an interesting case of someone whose name and numbers could have predicted the current turmoil Rod is facing now. This also continues the sorry story of Chicago politics. Consider that Blagojevich may be the 4th Illinois governor in 40 years to go to prison.

If you haven't heard, Rod R. Blagojevich tried to sell Obama's newly vacated Senate seat in return for high paying jobs for himself AND his wife.

He called the open seat a ' .. valuable thing' and something you don't give away 'for nothing.'

Already in a lot of legal trouble before this scandal broke, Blago needs the cash to pay off his debts. Wow, talk about arrogant and corrupt.

So last night for my Inner Circle members I broke down his numbers. Blago's 94 Destiny reduces to 13/4 and indicates both 'out-of-the-box' and politically incorrect thinking as well as sudden events. Let's just there's a fine line between genius and insanity. 13/4 also connects him with U.S. Politics.

His 10 Day of Birth means he can manifest things rapidly - good AND bad.

The governor is currently in a 14/5 Personal Year. Surprises, impatience, freedom and taking risks define any 5 cycle.

In his case, Blago was so impatient to get his financial freedom he took a huge risk. Now he's in for some surprises. Since Blagojevich is born in December - today is his birthday - his Personal Year vibration may be active for a while longer.

Then there's his 25/7 Life Purpose and 52/7 current name. This mirroring effect is very powerful. What to guard against with a 25 Life Purpose is impatience, impulsiveness and even recklessness. Trusting your feelings and intuition is so important with this number.

He is officially known as 'Rod R. Blagojevich.' And that 52 name is causing him nothing but trouble.

Earlier this year he had the lowest approval ratings of any Illinois governor in decades. His life is mired in lawsuits. Even his wife 'Patricia Blagojevich' is a loose cannon. By the way, Patricia has a 13/4 name - one I advise her to change immediately.

Back to the 52/7. This is one of the most challenging current name numbers out there.

The ancient Chaldeans considered 52 current names as unfortunate. They said a person with this number leads a life filled with obstacles, disappointment and even failure.

Blago's 25 Life Purpose makes his 52 name even more potent.

There's an easy cure for Blago. All the governor has to do is take out the middle initial 'R' in his official name.

It will at least help to prevent him from digging an even bigger hole.

Over the weekend I heard about Caroline Kennedy's interest in Senator Hillary Clinton's NY Senate seat. My ears perked up. What a surprise from someone whose stayed out of politics for so long.

The announcement of her interest has generated a lot of excitement. In part because Andrew Cuomo from the Cuomo family dynasty is also being considered for the job. And, from what we're being told, there's no love lost between the Kennedys and the Cuomos.

Once I began looking at Caroline Kennedy's Blueprint in relation to her current cycles I realized quickly what's propelling her to become a very public figure at this moment in time.

She stepped into the limelight earlier this year. For the first time ever Caroline supported a candidate for President. She endorsed Obama in January and has been part of his Inner Circle ever since. Comparing Obama to her father, JFK, was dramatic indeed.

What's amazing is that 2008 is a 21/3 Personal Year for Kennedy. 3 years have a way of getting you on a stage, in front of people in some way. You'll be asked to express yourself as a writer, speaker or in some other capacity.

That's certainly been the case for Caroline who's campaigned and written about Obama all year long.

She is activating her 33/6 Life Purpose number. 33 indicates she'll feel like she's responsible for some special task. And the 6 following 33 means she is highly sensitive to other people's needs.

When you combine the master number 33 with the root number 6 you get a person who is naturally prone to success, who has a deep emotional sensitivity - even though she may not always show it - and has a profound intuitive intelligence.

So it is not surprise that Caroline Kennedy is expressing an interest in service during her current 3 Personal Year.

The only item of concern I see is the name 'Caroline Kennedy', which adds up to 18. I never recommend 18 current names as they can easily result in unforeseen challenging events.

In Caroline's case, going by her married name 'Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg' would result in a highly fortunate 21/3 name - a much better choice.
