One thing I haven’t explored in this newsletter is how Pythagorean Numerology can be used to gauge whether two people are compatible. Let’s look at a powerful couple who have remained together under the most trying of circumstances and discover why that is. I am talking about the Clintons. How are Bill and Hillary connected. Well right off, they have four out of six numbers that are identical. I’m including the day of birth and Attitude numbers to the four core vibrations. Plus their Life Purpose Numbers are compatible. In short, they have the ingredients for a long-term relationship. And because they’ve got so many numbers in common – their missions are very similar – they understand each other well. Your full name has many numbers in it. If a number appears two or more times, it represents a specific strength and ability. Numbers are usually considered to be the language of science. But they also reveal the ‘soul’ of a word. Most words describe emotions or objects. Speaking any word evokes its feeling as well. The dark side of the 6 is its need to control. It just can’t let go. Finally, the Personality Number for Hate is 1. Here the negative characteristics of the Number 1 are in full force – bullishness, insensitivity, loneliness, and an inability to share itself with others. What’s even more fascinating is comparing the words light and dark with their counterparts, love and hate. The three numbers for Light - 11,9,2 - are very similar to the word Love - 9,11,7. Light has an 11 Destiny standing for illumination since it exposes the true nature of everything it lights up. The Soul Number is the humanitarian 9, making it indiscriminate and available to everyone and everything. The Personality is 2, showing its gentleness. On Saturday, I hiked up Mount Pisgah with Clayton and our daughter Clara. As we were walking back down the beautiful trail, I asked Clayton the names of high mountains. Clayton knows mountains. So he reminded me about Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous U.S. at 14505 feet, or 4421 meters. He first scaled its peak when he was a tender nine years of age. Two weeks ago, he rode his bike from our home in Asheville to Mount Mitchell and back - the highest mountain west of the Mississippi. Mount McKinley in Alaska, of course, is the highest mountain in North America at 20320 feet, or 6194 meters. Back over in Hawaii, we have what scientists now say is the biggest mountain in the world – Mauna Loa. At 33132 feet, or 10099 meters, it’s taller than Mt. Everest. Everest is the highest elevation on land, but it is only a single peak in an entire mountain range. Mauna Loa is a single mountain rising from the ocean floor on the island of Hawaii. Lest you think I’ve switched the topic of this newsletter to mountain-climbing, think again. You see, as I was descending the refreshing trail a few days back, I realized these mountains have something in common. All of their names either begin with the letter M or W. Most with the letter M. This is very significant in numerology. One important aspect of the letter M is greatness in height and visual impact. Think of the names Majestic, Mountain, Millionaire, Momentous – all signify reaching peaks and heights. Then there is the greatness in quality of being - such as in Master. Every name beginning with the letter M, such as Michael, Mary, Mark, Marion, and Maxwell will have this quality. This goes for your last name as well. W is the M turned on its head. Its energy is a little different. W looks like a mountain with two deep valleys. People with this letter usually have a change of consciousness sometime in their lives. They will have felt the deep valleys from which they can only pull out and scale the peaks. This is why the W looks like arms upraised seeking the light. In Africa Mount Kilimanjaro and in Australia Kosciusko are the respective highest mountains. If you turn the K on it’s side, it’s the only other letter that could resemble a mountain, in this case with the line of the sky represented over the peak. Mount Everest used to be a K mountain as well - the Tibetans referred to it as Komolangma. Each of the letters in your name are significant. Our daughter Clara was sick for 3 days last week with a digestive disorder. She rarely gets ill, so this was unusual. Then an interesting thing happened. I had a client who’s Life Purpose Number was exactly the same as Clara’s – 21/3. Along with all the other attributes each number carries with it, are health issues. So, as I was writing up his blueprint, I paid extra attention to the health section. A big lightbulb went off. First I was reminded that any person with a 3 Life Purpose MUST express himself. If he or she represses feelings, it’s like he’s corking up an inner volcano. The body feels the effects of stopping up the energy that is meant to flow freely. As long as a person with a 3 Life Purpose keeps emotions open and flowing, he or she enjoys exceptional health. Here’s a small excerpt of what I wrote in the Life Purpose Number section of the Pythagorean Numerology Blueprint. ‘You have one of the strongest physical bodies with a 21/3 vibration. However, if your creative energies are blocked or suppressed, you may encounter issues in the lower abdomen or reproductive areas.’ Wow, that hit home. Clara is the most expressive child I’ve ever met. She truly loves people – and they in turn love her – she’ll take any opportunity to talk to anyone, stranger or not. Last week she repressed her feelings for a couple of days. Not consciously, of course. Her part-time sitter called in two days in a row to cancel. So Clara wasn’t able to express herself in the usual way for a few hours each of those days. Hours she greatly looks forward to every week. Then she got her three-day tummy disorder. So it was really good to refresh my memory about her 21/3 vibration this week. From now on, when Clara’s fun, exploring and creative time is thrown off course, I’ll make sure to fill the void myself. Yesterday I received some good news. I feel like I’m on cloud 9. Which got me thinking about how we use numbers to describe how we feel. For instance, an impossible situation is a ‘Catch-22.’ A fashionably dressed person is ‘dressed to the 9s.’ Cats have ‘9 lives.’ When we want a one-on-one conversation, ‘2’s a company 3’s a crowd. ‘ We use a ‘High 5’ to express excitement and celebration. 5 is all about freedom. And the number 1 is all about being ‘Number 1.’ Or consider the person who only ‘looks out for Number 1.’ Then there are geometric shapes, which translate into numbers as well. If someone is stodgy, you might refer to him as ‘square.’ The ‘love triangle’ echoes ‘3s a crowd’ but with deeper deceptive qualities. Someone involved in such a triangle is definitely creative, a sure sign that the 3 energy is active. Being in 7th heaven is always a good thing – similar to feeling like you’re on cloud 9. 7 is about spiritual pursuits, spending time in nature and asking ‘who am I?’ - a question some people undoubtedly feel will be answered in heaven. The number 9 exudes leadership and spirituality as well as a source of light. 9 contains the qualities of all the other numbers. So being ‘on cloud 9’ is a complete feeling of joy, like you’re all lit up. 2 is about communication. It doesn’t like conflict. So when you say, ‘I’m of 2 minds’, you’re expressing a 2 in conflict. Saying something becomes ‘2nd nature’ expresses the 2 positively - a perfect relationship between mind and body. Other uses of 2 occur when you say ‘on 2nd thought’ and create an alternative to your 1st and only choice. When there’s no alternative there are ‘no 2 ways about it’. And when something is ‘2nd to none’, you’re basically referring to number 1. If you are at 6’s and 7’s, you’re confused and don't know what to do. Someone who speaks too fast, talks ’19 to the dozen.’ I already mentioned ‘catch-22.’ Consider 22 is a Master number. If you have one in your Pythagorean Numerology Blueprint you will know one thing for sure. You intensely dislike feeling out of control – like a catch-22 situation. This is the surest path to misery for a Master Number 22 person. How interesting that 4-letter-words, are considered rude. Another 4 vibration is the number 13. Well, guess what. The 4 is there to remind us to pay attention to the small details to avoid any mishaps. Paying attention is the surest way to bypass bad luck. Do you see how 4-letter words fit into this picture? Because, once you begin to pay attention, you can draw conclusions about something. The result is that you put ‘2 and 2 together’ – a positive way to express the 4 energy. Most of us don’t realize that we have a 6th sense, our intuition, which counsels us when we have questions – a key attribute of the number 6. How you use numbers, of course, says a lot about how you’re doing. By far the most constructive use of numbers is knowing which ones you resonate to. Do you have mostly mind numbers, like 1-5-7? Or are you the creative type with numbers 3-6-9. Maybe you are a business person, with a strong emphasis on 2-4-8. Good thing is, you have options as well. Any mathematician will tell you - Numbers Don’t Lie. They’ll also tell you that Numbers are Law. But, what it really comes down to is this. In essence, numbers are living vibrations. One reader objected to my using Paris Hilton as a numerology example yesterday. The gist of his comments was that she’s been in the news too much as it is. I wouldn’t know, since I don’t tune into the news much at all - haven’t watched a news broadcast in over four years. What I do know is that, aside from my husband Clayton, everyone seems to know who she is. Which is why, on occasion, I will look at the numbers of a famous - or infamous - personality. They make great examples of why Pythagorean Numerology is constantly active in our lives, whether you know it or not.

A friend of mine asked me if I knew Paris Hilton’s numbers. I asked her why and found out about her jail sentence. So I decided to do quick number check on Paris. Believe it or not, she has a Master Number 11 Life Purpose Vibration. It’s really no surprise to me, actually. She loves the spotlight and has a powerful aura about her. Whether you like her personality or not, she knows how to work the spotlight to attract people and cameras. Now, Paris is starting a new 9 year cycle this year. So far she’s having a rough go of it. In fact, her impulsive actions this year have led to her current difficulties. Impulsiveness can turn any 1 year into a nightmare. But what’s really interesting is that the current month of June is a 16/7 month for Paris. 7 happens to be a challenge number to her Life Purpose Number. And 16/7 is a vibration signaling unforeseen and sudden events which are intended to overthrow existing conditions. Erroneous ideas and habits must be altered under this temporary vibration. And for some, this has to be done in a forceful manner. Going back though to her Life Purpose vibration - she’s really acting out all the negative qualities of this powerful Master Number. She’s being stubborn and resistant and his having bouts of fitful energy, like the ‘terrible twos’. This pent-up energy has obviously generated addictive behavior. The biggest lesson for this number is that every action has consequences. When this spiritual law is ignored, 11/2s often get it delivered a court of law. Since Paris is in a 1 Personal Year which represents taking complete control of her life, she’s being confronted with this law head-on. Every action has a reaction. Paris also has an 8 Birthday and an 8 Personality/Inner Dream Number. With two 8s in her blueprint she has to be careful not to live on the negative side of this powerful vibration, which is about power and abundance. By doing so she will only learn the hard way. I must say, trying to get out of her reduced jail sentence and then protesting going back to serve in a correctional facility, makes me think she’s working her two 8s overtime. Paris proves yet again that your numbers never lie. It doesn’t matter who your referring to, once you understand their numerological vibrations, you understand them. Yesterday my friend Libby told me she and her husband were house-hunting. She’d just seen a home she really liked. The house needed updating, but its character, location and size were just what they were looking for. I sensed Libby’s strong emotional connection to the property, so I asked her what the house number was. She said, "22. Is that a good number?" I told her it was a great vibration for her and her family. The 4 home represents security. And Libby really wants to feel that sense of peace again. She moved to Asheville from a large Midwest city with her husband and son over a year ago. For weeks now she’s been chomping at the bit to get out of their rental apartment and into a home. I’ve been hearing from people around the world about translating their alphabets into English. They want to know if their names can work with Pythagorean Numerology. ‘I have one question. Since I am Greek and therefore I use the Greek Alphabet in my name does your program apply to other alphabets as well? Please note that there is no direct equivalent of my name in English. Thank you and best regards, D. Papathanasiou The answer is – Yes. The English alphabet - which is the same alphabet used in most western European languages - evolved roughly in this order - Egyptian, Cuneiform, Hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Hebrew, Greek, Roman, English. Another branch emerged from Greek. That branch led to Cyrillic languages like Russian, Serbian, Greek and Bulgarian. Their alphabets resemble the English one with the addition of special characters and various accents. I have created blueprints for Chinese, Japanese and Indian clients, using their given names. If you give me the direct equivalent of your name in the English language along with your birthday, you will most definitely receive a fully functioning Pythagorean Numerology Blueprint. The important thing to remember is this. The name you or any person uses Now is your Power Name. Whether it is original to the English alphabet or not. It can always be changed if the numbers aren’t resonating with your goals. You can also change as little as 1 letter to create the numerological vibrations you want. What happens when letters go missing from your name? Not from misspelling it. I’m talking about eliminating perfectly good letters. What if Michael Eisner, Michael Phelps or Michael Jordan had chosen to go by Mike Eisner, Mike Phelps and Mike Jordan? Do you think those shortened names sound better, stronger, more powerful? Not in the least. They are weaker versions of a perfectly good name. Much weaker versions. Eliminating the letters C, H, A and L is like cutting off one of your legs or arms. Luckily, letters don’t need surgery to be re-attached. Let’s look at one of the Missing Factors in the name Mike. The letter C, pronounced ‘see’ does indeed see right through the essence in everyone and everything. The shape of the C is like a half-moon, open on the right side so it can see the future. C is also like an open mouth and likes to talk. They may have the tendency to be critical of others and gossip. People with C’s are creative and prefer professional occupations because they intensely dislike mundane jobs and manual labor - unless it’s creative. C is like the letter U but on it’s side. Where the U is shaped like a cup and is there to hold energy, C lets the energy flow out. So emotions cannot be held in. This is a great letter for athletes who thrive on achieving their best by channeling their emotions in a positive way. Here’s an example of someone who revived and restored the energy of his name by re-attaching missing letters. This letter comes from a client in Japan. He’s gone by the name Ken or Kenny for as long as he can remember. Partly because he was teased in school. This happens to be a big reason people shorten their names. Now he wants to jumpstart his professional life. So he decided to make a change. Here’s what he wrote. “Hi Tania, “Yeowza! This is an unbelievable read. So much is true. Inspiring. Uplifting.
