Been catching up on a few movies this past week. I haven’t watched this much TV in over a dozen years. Speaking of TV, my friend Kim asked me about a television actress named Katherine Heigl, ‘Never heard of her,’ I said. Turns out Heigl has catapulted herself from TV to Hollywood movie star. Kim was curious whether Heigl’s numbers could account for her meteoric rise to stardom. I soon found out that Hollywood’s new ‘It Girl’ has been in the biz since age 11. But, up until recently, she was in the same boat as tens of thousands of other struggling actors – pounding on doors, trying to get people to hire her while working jobs she hated. Feeling very disheartened about her profession. I’m guessing many people outside of Hollywood can relate to her plight. So I looked at her name and numbers to find out why 2007 was her breakout year. How she was able to win that unexpected Emmy Award in September. And how her fee was raised from 300K to 5 million per movie in a matter of weeks. Plus there’s another issue that intrigued me. Katherine Heigl’s name. Le’t take a look at her lucky 6 connection first. Heigl was born on a 24 Day. Her Life Purpose Number is 33. Both these numbers add up to 6 - and both are highly fortunate. Her journey from regular actress and model to Hollywood starlet got a boost in 2005 when she was cast on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, a hugely successful TV show, originally just a midseason replacement on ABC. 2005 was a 15/6 year for Heigl. Anyone who enters a 17/8 year prepared, courageous and eager to keep learning has a super chance of reaping huge financial and professional rewards. And so it comes as no surprise that Katherine Heigl shot to stardom in 2007. What’s interesting too is that the number 17 symbolizes immortality. Becoming famous in a 17 year could possibly mean her name will live on long after she’s gone. There’s one little rub though. One reason Heigl may NOT have hit the fame quotient she has now earlier in her career is her name. For now, what I see is that Heigl is benefiting mostly from her 17/8 Personal Year. To show you how much, just look at the fact that she won her unexpected Emmy Award in September – a 17/8 month for Heigl. Even her mom said there’s no way she could win an Emmy. But she did, and was so shocked, her reaction had to be bleeped off the telecast. Well, when a 17/8 Personal Month shows up in a 17/8 Personal Year it creates a double whammy of incredible luck and recognition. While driving home from my bi-annual visit to my dentist this morning, I heard the news. ‘Benazir Bhutto assassinated.’ I felt that one. My introduction to Bhutto happened while I lived for three years in London. Bhutto had recently returned to Pakistan from London, where she had built her own party in order to campaign against General Zia, who had executed her father, Prime Minister of Pakistan in the 1970s, and put her in jail for 5 years. Later she became one of the first democratically elected female prime ministers of an Islamic country. In fact, she was ousted and later regained the leadership position again. In the months before her assassination today, Benazir Bhutto was positioning herself once again as a strong contender for Prime Minister. What I discovered about her name and the date of her sudden death today is remarkable. Bhutto’s day of birth is 21 and her Life Purpose Number is 27/9. The 27 is a vibration of leadership, and gave her a strong inclination to follow her beliefs, and pursue her goals with tremendous ambition and drive. As a result, there were always people who resented her power. Putting them at ease would have kept them from interfering in her plans. However, as her name will reveal, this wasn’t always possible. Here is the a stunning ‘coincidence.’ Today is the 27th. 12-27-2007 adds up to none other than 21. So the most important numbers in her birthday, 21 and 27 are mirrored IN REVERSE on the date of her death. Remarkable. As for her current name, Benazir Bhutto, it adds up to 51/6. When you read what this number symbolizes in the ancient Chaldean system of numerology, you will see why she’s been in danger. 51 is symbolizes a warrior spirit. This means sudden advancements and accomplishments were possible during Bhutto’s life. It’s an especially fortunate number for leaders of any cause not related to war. However, with a 51 name comes a strong warning of dangerous enemies. In other words, the glory this number promises isn’t worth the risk. This is why I would never recommend it for a name. And while I’m looking at names… Benazir Bhutto comes from a tragic family. In addition to her father’s assassination, both her brothers died under mysterious circumstances. This begs the question, what about her family name, ‘Bhutto.’ The name Bhutto itself resonates to a number of contradictions. Both immense success and powerful opposition from enemies and competitors, as well as serious losses in courts of law are symbolized by her family name. So, she carried a lot on her back, you could say – considering her family’s legacy. No doubt, Bhutto made mistakes. So, were there clues to what she had to watch out for this year. Absolutely. 2007 was a 18/9 Personal Year for her. Any 9 year symbolizes endings and transitions. She was about to enter a whole new 9-year cycle. Essentially, Bhutto had a great chance of being elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan once again in 2008. 18 Personal Years are filled with active dreams, sleeplessness, new plans, new ideas and changes. Bhutto certainly had all these going for her in 2007. But… an 18 year can also be filled with dangers. She would have had to be on guard against deception. Accidents caused by carelessness can happen during an 18/9 year. This was the second suicide attack against her this year. Obviously today her security was caught off-guard. Finally, for a leader such as Bhutto, the18 year is connected to uprisings and revolutions. As well as deception by friends and enemies. Enough said. Bhutto died at 18:16 local time. Growing up, my family celebrated on Christmas Eve. It’s a German tradition. So, on this Christmas Eve I want to tell you about the numbers for Jesus x. Christ. Why the x. Have you noticed how people either use the spelling Xmas or get rid of the word Christmas altogether in favor of ‘Happy Holidays.’ No doubt some people write ‘Xmas’ because they are too busy or too lazy to write out the other name. However, if people only knew the following. ‘Xmas’ adds up to 13. Not exactly the right feeling for this merry day. More importantly, the word ‘Christmas’ contains the name ‘Christ.’ And therein lies a significant mystery. ‘Christ’ adds up to an 18/9. ‘Jesus’ is 18/9 name as well. When you add up the root numbers for ‘Jesus’ and ‘Christ’, 9 plus 9, you get exactly the same 18/9 value AGAIN. Stunning, but true. It gets even more mysterious. The three words used frequently to identify him, ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, ALSO add up to 18/9. The root numbers for Jesus of Nazareth are 9 plus 6 plus 3, equaling 18/9. So, to sum up, ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ equals 18/9, ‘Jesus’ equals 18/9, ‘Christ’ adds up to 18/9 – and the two-word name ‘Jesus Christ’ is an 18/9. WHY 18/9. It’s certainly not a number I recommend for a current name. The 18 vibration was Jesus’ destiny – one he never attempted to avoid, as many others would want to. Notice too that 18 reduces to the single number 9 – symbol of the Alpha and the Omega. The meaning of number 18 is mysterious. In essence this number symbolizes materialism striving to destroy the spirit. It represents someone who is connected to uprisings and revolutions. A person who is deceived by both friends and enemies. A pretty good description of the intense drama of Jesus’ life. And the essential mission he had. You can see, why it’s not a number I would wish upon a mere mortal, if you get my drift. Luckily, 18 reduces to 9, a fabulous number of compassion, leadership and a magnet for wealth and fame. The mystery of the 18/9 is that it gave Jesus the tools he needed to fulfill his challenging destiny. Look at what else this number represents. 9, containing all numbers from 1 through 9, is the number of beginnings and endings. Exemplified in the quote, ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega.’ 9 gave Jesus the ability to see straight into the heart of any situation, to ‘see’ the heart of each person – without the elongated process of analysis. Getting to the point quickly is a key to a 9. The greatest 9 people infuse this ability with compassion. Jesus’ entire life was influenced by the mysterious 3-6-9 triad. He was found in the temple discussing profound spiritual truths with the Rabbis at age 12, and 12 adds up to 3. He began his public life at age 30 – again a 3. He was crucified at age 33, a master number adding up to 6. The 6 is a reversed 9 when you flip it upside down. He rose on the 3rd day. Don’t forget those 18 ‘lost years’ between age 12 and 30, for which there is no recorded history – again, 18/9. And, as you have already seen, when you add up 3 - 6 - 9, you get 18. On a final note, ‘Christmas Eve’ adds up to a 6. Notice too that the birth of Jesus is celebrated on the eve of a 24/6 day. 6 is the number of the cosmic parent, of home. The state of ‘Israel’ also adds up to 6. And ‘Love’ is a 12/3. This would indicate a strong 3-6-9 connection between Jews and Christians. The connection is deep and lasting, After all, Jesus was a Jew, and ‘Jew’ is a 12/3. With traveling, wrapping, shopping and parties over the weekend and all – I figure it’s as good a day as any to delve into a couple of your questions. The first one was on lots of people’s minds. "Why do you think the name 'Titanic' was so lucky for the movie and yet it was so unlucky for the ship. I'm just googling and it looks like Titanic the ship had a prefix of RMS. "Thanks for your emails - they are always fascinating." Sean C. You’re completely right Sean. If the Titanic hadn’t had the initials RMS preceding its name, there wouldn’t have been a movie in the first place. Because ‘RMS Titanic’ adds up to 28/1, a number of great contradictions. On the one hand, 28 gives notice of great promise, even a genius quality. There is the POTENTIAL of great success. However, there is also a powerful opposing force within this number. So, even with success there is great danger from enemies. The opposing force can result from serious loss in courts of law - or acts of nature. No need to remind you that the story of the RMS Titanic will be talked about forever. This talk COULD have been for the very reason it was built – an opulent ship that was deemed unsinkable. Instead… The lesson for 28 is key for the RMS Titanic story. Namely. 28 warns of caution and more caution – always look before you leap. What more is there to say, except that this vibration had a great affect on the maiden journey of the RMS Titanic. Icebergs are hidden dangers. So ‘looking before leaping’ may have been impossible. The iceberg literally became the ‘enemy.’ As you can see, the difference between the highly fortunate number 19 for ‘Titanic’, which has no hidden dangers, and the number 28 for the ‘RMS Titanic’ are great indeed. Next question. After yesterday’s newsletter on U.S. Presidents and current candidates who have Double Letters, many of you caught on to the importance of this phenomenon. Jacqueline writes, "How about "LL" squared for Hillary and Rockefeller. Very interesting. Very interesting indeed." Yes isn’t that the truth. This lucky double letter combo appears in many high-profile people’s names throughout history. Like Bill Gates, Teddy Roosevelt, Eleanor and Franklin D. Well, you get my drift. This final question illustrates what makes my approach to numerology so unique and powerful. "Can you tell me the difference between 16/7 expression and 61/7 expression. Is there a difference." J. Downs Oh yes, there is a difference. Though both have the 7 as their root number, the 61 is a peaceful and serene vibration. A person with this number is well-rounded, patient and a high achiever. A person with 16 is magnetic and has a talent for writing and speaking. However, he or she will experience more trials and defeats than the calm 61. There is a sense of emotional conflicts leading to personal and professional losses with the 16. Rather than patience, there is impatience, since freedom is desired at all costs. What 16 and 61 have in common is a quest for perfection and privacy and an interest in mystical subjects. Both benefit highly from silence and meditation. Most other numerologists would have told you there is NO difference between these two numbers. Why. Because they will only look at the root number, in this case 7. But this is a great mistake. The way numbers relate to each other is has important as what they add up to. First some news. Yesterday Giuliani checked himself into a hospital with flu-like symptoms – a possible sign of health issues for 2008, only 11 days away. A few days ago I mentioned Giuliani may be experiencing health concerns next year. He’s going to be in a 25/7 year – not the best for being elected President either. Though one other nominee was able to swing it during his own 25/7 year – none other than Jimmy Carter. There’s one big difference between these two candidates, besides their political beliefs. Jimmy Carter’s name resonates to one of the most powerful and fortunate numbers out there, 19/1. So even during his 7 year, he was able to win the popular vote, though narrowly over Gerald Ford. Plus, Americans were still reacting to Watergate, something he most likely benefited from at the polls - a lucky gift for common for someone with a 19/1 name. You need every lucky break you can get to make it all the way to the top. And people with fortunate names can take even a crisis and turn it into a lucky charm. Ford, by the way, had a 7 name just like Giuliani does. In both their cases, and yes I’m making a prediction for next year, their unfortunate names lead to losses. So what about Mitt Romney. He’s got a great name too. It adds up to the number of instant manifestation – 10/1. Unfortunately for Romney, he’ll be experiencing one of the worst numbers during election year. Yes it’s a 7 year. But not a 25/7, which is a little easier to handle, but a 16/7 year. Now under certain circumstances I would still give him an edge due to his powerful name number. But, Romney also happens to be born on a 12 day, so he’s got two out of three important indicators going against him. Even so, with his 10 name going for him, he could possibly do well. If it weren’t for one major fact. Mike Huckabee. You see, all the Presidential candidates I’ve mentioned so far have had something more fortunate going for them than their opponent, both in the primaries and at the Presidential elections. And next year, Mike Huckabee will have the edge on all fronts on the Republican side. It’s the first time I’ve seen such a clear-cut victory in the numbers. We’ll see how it pans out. I have to mention here that sometimes it’s the most obvious and simple things which give a candidate, and anyone for that matter, that extra bit of edge. One of these is double letters. As in the RR in Ronald Reagan, or the LL in Bill Clinton. The MM in Jimmy Carter, the TT in Mitt Romney and the EE in Mike Huckabee. I’ve learned never to overlook these little details. Because, as with any body of work, it’s the little details that make up the whole picture. With that in mind, Mitt Romney does have much going for him. He’s supposedly caught up with Giuliani in some national polls, with Huckabee a close third. The early month’s of 2008 will be very exciting indeed. The McCaughey Septuplets turned 10 years old exactly one month ago. Seven different names, same day of birth. It’s a fascinating story. When a friend of mine forwarded me an article on the world’s first surviving septuplets – it got my attention. Every one of the McCaughey Septuplets has his or her distinct personality, and, I wanted to look at each of their current names to confirm their differences in numbers. Remember, astrologers can’t do this. These seven siblings were born within six minutes, after all. Unveiling what is unique about each person who has a twin – or septuplet – showcases one of the true benefits of numerology. Yes, their Life Purpose Number and Day of Birth are shared. But each one of their names is unique and emits a vibration that is going to affect them differently every day. And therein lies the secret code. Rudi Giuliani was riding high earlier this year. Now it looks like his top spot in the Republican race is about to be relinquished. Back in September he had more support than any of the other Republican candidates. He was the front-runner, the one to beat. But Giuliani hasn’t been able to keep this momentum going. And, if you ask me, his numbers do not indicate he will be the Presidential candidate for the Republican party. Here’s why. Rudy Giuliani’s current name is a 34/7 – good for keen observation, learning and gaining wisdom as a result, good for overcoming disappointments from his early life – but not a number that indicates abundance and the Presidency. He would have a greater chance as President if his Destiny number and Day of birth indicated otherwise. But no matter how much he wants the job, these other two numbers won’t help him either. His day of birth is 28, which can indicate a life full of frustrating contradictions. For example, Giuliani studied to be a priest, then joined the Democratic Party because he admired Kennedy, later becoming an Independent under the Ford Administration and finally joining the Republican Party one month after Reagan became President. Now, these party switches aren’t in and of themselves indicative of someone in conflict. However, once they are lined up with his career appointments, the motives become clear. Giuliani’s 28 name indicates, on the one hand, that he has great promise, even a genius quality for getting results, and the possibility of achieving immense success. On the other hand, he’ll have a tendency to trust the wrong people. This means, Giuliani will attract strong opposition in all parts of his life. Enemies and competitors - in business and career. The most important lesson for 28 is caution. Giuliani must always look before he leaps. In a Presidential election with so many candidates, caution won’t necessarily bode well. In order to stand out, even a frontrunner must take risks. Giuliani has enjoyed riding on his laurels, and as we are seeing now, that balloon is losing air. Voters are still undecided at this late stage, so the opportunity is great. The greatest leaders put everything on the line, at the most important critical moments. Like now. Notice that Giuliani’s Destiny Number is a 7 as well. Having a 7 name and a 7 Destiny explains his early interest in the priesthood. 7 represents the drive for knowledge and wisdom. With two sevens Giuliani will be seeking perfection in everything. Thus he can be very critical of others, be difficult to work with, feel superior and act like he doesn’t need anything from anyone. On top of that, he is missing the number 2 in his birth name, Rudolph William Louis Giuliani. So he’s prone to lack patience, tact and timing. In contrast, Giuliani’s birth name has many, many 3s and 9s. Therein lies another contradiction. Keeping his blueprint in mind and looking at what’s ahead for Giuliani in 2008, my conclusion is he won’t make it past the February primaries. I know, it’s a big statement. The timing of his pullout is probably irrelevant – if you believe, as I do, that he won’t be the next President. On another somber note, Giuliani’s health could be an issue next year. So pulling out of a physically exhausting campaign might not be such great a disappointment for him. What’s the most important word in your vocabulary. Which word couldn’t you do without. Most likely it’ the word Love. Yes, it can be overused, as in ‘I love chocolate,’ or ‘I just love it when you say that.’ But without love, life would not be possible. In Pythagorean Numerology ‘Love’ adds up to 18/9. 9 IS the number for love, compassion and brotherhood. People with strong 9s in their Pythagorean Blueprint have a deep urge to help others. I know it’s been Oprah’s big weekend foray into politics. But there’s another story that’s brewing. And its effect will eclipse Oprah very soon. I’m talking about Mike Huckabee. A friend asked me about him a couple of months ago. Not knowing who he was, I did the numbers. Then I told my friend, ‘watch out for this man. He’s going to go far.’ Since that day I’ve kept an eye on Huckabee. He’s fulfilling his promise fast. Unusually fast. Two weeks ago polls put him in 5th place in South Carolina. Now he’s leading. Without ever placing a television ad. You may think the Republican race is unpredictable from day to day. And that everything is still up for grabs. Well, wait til you hear about Huckabee’s numbers before assuming it’s a free-for-all. Mike Huckabee’s name, an unforgettable one, adds up to 14/5 - the Media Number. Oprah is endorsing Obama. First time she’s ever come out in support of a political candidate. Some may think this is a race issue. Or a Chicago connection. Could be yes to both. So you thought I was going to write about Brangelina. No, not today. Though that relationship is an interesting one. Supposedly Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon are the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Both Reese and Angelina are two of the few actresses whose name alone can open a movie. There is a good reason for this. Their names add up to amazing numbers. Angelina, daughter of Jon Voight, could have gone by Angelina Jolie Voight. It’s good she didn’t, because that name adds up to a negative 22/4 in the Chaldean system. Contrast this to the mellifluous sounding name Angelina Jolie which happens to resonate to 14 – the Media Number. How appropriate that Angela Jolie’s name has the 14 Media Number going for her, since it signifies magnetic communication with the public. Well, that sums up Angelina’s box office draw. Period. And Reese Witherspoon. The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress is a direct descendant of Scotland-born John Witherspoon, the 6th president of Princeton University. While doing some research yesterday, I made a discovery. Movie names matter, and they matter in a Big way. So do their release dates. I’ll use a couple of blockbuster successes and flops to show you what I mean. Of course, ‘Titanic’ is still the highest grossing film ever made. So naturally I was interested in this movie’s numbers. The name happens to add up to 19, one of the most fortunate and favorable of all numbers. What amazed me is the following clue. Not only does the name ‘Titanic’ resonate to 19, the movie was released on a 19 day – December 19, 1997. Unbelievable luck. It’s no wonder the movie is still ‘King of the Hill.’ Plus it was nominated for the most Oscars ever, 14, and won 11. Only two other films, Lord of the Rings; The Return of the King, and Ben-Hur have won 11 Academy Awards. The 14 Oscar Nominations also coincide well with director James Cameron’s name, which adds up to 14 – the Media Number. Oh, and James Horner, the composer who won his first Oscar that night for Best Motion Picture Score, was born on the 14th of August. The ‘Titanic’ album became the best-selling instrumental soundtrack ever. My husband, Clay Haslop, who is James Horner’s concertmaster, happens to have led the orchestra for the music. Clay was born on the 19th of June. Amazing. I know some people hated the movie, while others loved it so much they watched it many times over. This is because 19 reduces to a 10 – a number which can elicit love or hate. One last little tidbit. James Horner and James Cameron both have the same first name. Guess what number it resonates to – 14, the media number. Clay’s middle name, for the record, is also James. Funny how these names and numbers have a way of magnetically attracting each other. Now for some blockbuster flops. Do you remember the 2005 ‘The Island?’ Though this film got good reviews, it bombed at the box office. Thing is, no one predicted the disaster – and I use that word because it cost 126 mill to make and only grossed 35.8 mill in the U.S. ‘The Island’ happens to add up to 13/4. The official New York premiere took place on July 11 – not a good date. Followed by a release date on July 22. A 22/4 date is never easy, in fact, I would never recommend it as an opening day for a movie. When a number 4 name is coupled with a number 4 release date, fateful events have a way of sabotaging all plans for success. And fate did intervene with this movie. A much-publicized lawsuit filed by 'Sahara' author Clive Cussler months before the release, gave the movie some bad publicity, from which it never recovered. Luckily the film was released on more fortunate days in other countries, so it was able to cut its losses. However, the combo of a bad name and a bad U.S. release date will forever keep the film on the backburner in people’s minds. The same fateful combo of numbers prevented ‘Sahara’ from succeeding as well. This film was supposed to make Matthew McConaughey an action star and launch a new ‘Indiana Jones’ type franchise. But not with a 13/4 name like ‘Sahara.’ And a release date on April 8, 2005. Remember, 8s and 4s, though magnetically attracted to each other, don’t mix well. The end result - ‘Sahara’ cost 160 mill to make and only grossed 68.7 mill in the U.S. There are many more examples I can give. For example, blockbuster flops ‘Hulk’, ‘ Alexander’, ‘All the King’s Men’, and ‘Poseidon’ all add up to negative numbers. There’s much to be learned in this. Names are alive – they have very specific energies, good or bad. For this reason alone, it is critical for you and your loved ones to have a good name. Why cause unnecessary difficulties, which could easily be eliminated by having a good name.
