Last Sunday I noticed Jon Stewart talking about Angelina Jolie during the Oscars – and she wasn’t even there. Talk about worldwide media attention. Supposedly Brad Pitt has asked for Angelina’s hand in marriage numerous times. He’s even said publicly he would get married in a heartbeat if she agreed. I think Brad may get his wish this year. 2008 is a 2 Personal Year for Angelina. So she’ll need to slow down and pay attention to her friends and family. Expecting a child certainly will fits into her current cycle. This is what a 2 year is all about – taking stock, resting and nurturing relationships – especially with children and partners. For the past decade, the name ‘Emily’ tops the list for newborn baby girls. For boys ‘Jacob’ is the first choice. What’s amazing about these two choices is that they add up to the SAME number. That number describes our information age to a tee. I’m referring to 14/5 – the Media Number. Essentially, unbeknownst to them, parents have chosen two names which sum up the times we live in. 14 is about magnetic communication with the public and all things media – internet, tv, iPods and cellphones. 5 is a pivotal vibration symbolizing change, freedom, adventure and movement. North Korea usually makes news when the topic is tense. But a very different event, crossing all cultural borders, occurred there this evening. Earlier today the New York Philharmonic performed an historic concert in Pyongyang, North Korea. Consider this fact first. Since the Korean War ended, when the NY Philharmonic arrived yesterday, it was the most Americans ever on North Korean soil. Imagine how it felt to these world-class musicians, who were greeted with pomp and circumstance when their plane arrived, to be essentially representing a part of the world that has been off limits here for decades. Even the music they performed has been off limits. The orchestra, invited by North Korea, had several requests before agreeing to perform. The most important of which was that the concert be broadcast live on North Korean television. They succeeded. In fact all their requests were fulfilled. Including that both the North Korean and American national anthems be played – another first for this country. The first standing ovation of the night happened after those two anthems were performed. Live. In front of millions of North Koreans. Imagine. So why did this cultural overture happen today? The number for ‘North Korea’ is 4. And today is the 26th, an 8 day. These two numbers, 4 and 8, are magnetically attracted to each other. 4 and 8 are connected with fateful events for those people – and countries - who have them in their blueprint. I caught some of the Academy Awards Show last night. As a composer, I was particularly struck by the winners of ‘Best Song.’ Two totally unknown independent musicians won for their beautiful song ‘Falling Down.’ And the film about the great singer Edith Piaf ‘La Vie En Rose’ won an unexpected author for the delightful French actress Marion Cotillard. Let’s look at their names and numbers. Irishman Glen Hansard and Czech singer/pianist Marketa Irglova, who is only 19, were a joy to listen both musically and in their acceptance speech. When you consider that Glen Hansard’s Irish bands are little-known in the U.S. - Irglova is one of his bandmates – it’s quite a rags-to-riches story which should inspire and motivate independent artists worldwide. Both have outstanding current name numbers – something I already gathered. Hansard’s name is a 10 – Instant Manifestation. Yesterday a client asked me about titles for two TV shows he’s producing for Australian television. In the process I told him about great names which helped shows become a huge success in the U.S. Current hits, such as ‘American Idol’ and ‘Lost’ have highly fortunate numbers going for them. But where having a good title with a great number gets really apparent is when looking at television shows that were number 1 for many years - and made the actors celebrities. Like the sitcom ‘Friends.’ This mega-hit lasted from 1994-2004 and launched the careers of all its six stars who all achieved household name celebrity status. The longest running show in the U.S. is ‘Meet the Press.’ Amazingly, it adds up to the Immortality Number, 17. ‘Meet the Press’ has been broadcast since November 6, 1947 – so it’s been running for over 60 years. When news of McCain’s alleged affair with a beautiful lobbyist broke last night, I wasn’t surprised. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying it’s true, far from it. I just know WHY this story is hitting the airwaves right now. You see, John McCain is born on a powerful day, the 29th. It’s a Master Number exuding leadership qualities, creativity and strength. However, a 29 Day of Birth or Current Name carries one of the most challenging missions of all the numbers. It will test you constantly for your spiritual strength. With the media focusing on Obama’s 10th straight primary win over Hillary, Fidel Castro’s resignation yesterday was just a blip on the radar screen. But in many ways, Fidel’s life is more fascinating. After all, how many assassination attempts has he thwarted. President Johnson alone ordered at least eight plots involving the CIA to assassinate Castro. Then there’s the length of his rulership. How many other leaders, dictators or not, have ruled a country since 1959. With his ability to stay in power for nearly five decades, I figured Fidel Castro’s name added up to a pretty good number. Especially since his day of birth, 13, required that he use a good name. His actual last name is Ruz - Castro being one of his middle names. He chose well, because using that name with Fidel adds up to 41/5. In a way, you couldn’t ask for a better vibration for a politician. There are two reasons, both Theodore and FDR both were able to escape assassination attempts. Theodore Roosevelt happens to have an incredible name. Let’s look at his family name first. She won 5 Grammys last night, and was beamed in from London for her performance. Amy Winehouse, the 24-year-old troubled singer, peformed her life-imitating-art songs ‘Rehab’ and ‘I’m No Good’ by satellite. She’s been in drug rehab since January 24. With her husband in jail on a case-tampering charge, and her own problems, you would have thought Winehouse was in a bad Personal Year. Not so. As I just explained in an interview on wsRadio a few minutes ago, it’s her name that’s holding her captive, not her 24/6 year. 24 is a year of harvest for Winehouse, a year of reaping the seeds she’s sown in the past. It’s also a year where she receives respect from her peers. Plus, the 6 means, she’ll stand to gain financially. Much of the 24 vibration as already come to pass. After all Amy won Best New Artist, Best New Song and Record of the Year at the Grammy’s last night. Here’s what’s holding her back personally. Winehouse has an 8 Life Purpose Number, which is a powerful vibration. However, her current name is a 4. This creates the classic 4 and 8 effect. Numerologists warn that these two numbers in combination often create fateful events and challengees. Not only that, Amy’s last name is ‘Winehouse’ – not the best choice for someone who is in drug rehab. In order to transmute the problematic effect of having a 13/4 name in conjunction with her 8 Life Purpose, I recommend she respell it resulting in a helpful, fortunate number. This way, Amy can clear the way for a more calm and peaceful existence. Where she won’t feel the urge to reach out for drugs. Funny, I get the feeling, she may be attached to the 13/4 vibration, at least right now. Why do I say that. Because 13 is a genius number. Some might say this retro-soul singer is a genius - that everything about her is about breaking the orthodox. Of course, a genius can be troubled. What she needs to know is that her 13 name means shell have to watch for warnings of the unknown and unexpected. Upheaval is a metaphor for this name number, as we can clearly see. Another Grammy, for best motion picture soundtrack, went to Michael Giacchino who composed the music for ‘Ratatouille.’ He’s a friend of my husband’s – in fact they’re currently recording Giacchino’s next big soundtrack in Hollywood. Unlike with Amy Winehouse, Giacchino’s name is golden. The number he has is 33/6, giving him an extraordinary original and creative mind. If you’ve heard the soundtracks for Ratatouille, The Incredibles, as well as Lost and Alias, you know this to be true. Clay has led the orchestra for all of them and says the joy of working for Michael is unsurpassed. Giacchino’s name number also carries great promises for financial success. This is an example of a current name which brings many rewards. Look out for him at the Oscars later this month. If there is one thing to remember about numerology it is this. The name you have today, the name on your correspondence, credit cards and bank account, the name people know you by is the KEY to fulfilling your Destiny. During interviews I’m being asked more often who I think the new President will be come November. With only 3 viable candidates remaining, I have my answer. McCain, Clinton and Obama are now the frontrunners – make that co-frontrunners for Hillary and Barack. I’ve been saying all along that neither Mitt Romney nor Rudy Giuliani had the current numbers to become Republican Candidate for President. Both are in a 7 Personal Year in 2008 – one of the least likely numbers to guarantee a win, especially in a tight race. That leaves McCain on the Republican side. Since his Life Purpose Number and Day of Birth are both 11s and his Personal Year in 2008 is also an 11, he has a lot of power going into November’s election. Whenever your personal year matches one of the important numbers in your blueprint – look out. You’ll be growing more rapidly and accomplishing more than at any other time in your 9-year cycle. This coming November, McCain’s Personal Month will match his Destiny number. In fact, since February and November result in the same current month vibrations, it’s no coincidence that McCain is cementing his frontrunner status this month. As for Hillary, she – and Bill for that matter – started a whole new 9-month cycle this year. Her Personal Year is an excellent one – but, it doesn’t match ANY of her important personal numbers. Now, if she had remained unchallenged, she’d have a chance. But both candidates running against her right now, McCain and Obama, HAVE those personal numbers activated in 2008. By the way, so did George W. Bush in 2000. As a side-note, Huckabee has a great Personal Year as well, but the number doesn’t line up with any of the important numbers in his blueprint either. Additionally, there’s one other important ingredient Hillary Clinton has going against her. Her name doesn’t add up to a fortunate vibration. Her current name, whether it’s Hillary Clinton or Hillary Rodham Clinton, will always present her with obstacles. In a minute I’ll tell you a secret about McCain and Obama’s names. You know, it’s funny. I heard conservative Ann Coulter talk about a McCain vs. Clinton race this morning. Hmm. I don’t see that happening. The race will be between Obama and McCain. Let’s look at the Barack Obama phenomenon. He’s the only candidate who has ignited the kind of grassroots support other candidates can only dream of. How did his campaign he take off like wildfire in 2008? First, you’ve probably guessed by now – his Personal Year lines up beautifully with the important numbers in his blueprint. There are two big pluses he has going for him. Just like McCain, Obama is in a very powerful Master Number Year in 2008 which matches his day of birth and it’s in perfect harmony with his Life Purpose Master Number. To put it in a nutshell he has the 2-4-8 trilogy activated this year in a Master vibration way. This is the point I want to talk about Barack’s and John’s names. Both of them add up to the Immortality number. This means, both will be remembered after they pass away. Contrast that to Hillary’s name, which is causing setbacks for her. Also, just like McCain, Obama has a great number this month, which lines up the same way in November - nine months from now. So I predict we’re looking at a McCain-Obama race. I love skeptics. They light a fire in me. Earlier this morning I had the pleasure of talking to a skeptic about numerology. Not privately, but in front of a live radio audience numbered at around 300,000. ‘What’s this about numerology,’ Sebastian, the host, asked. ‘I just don’t believe in fortune telling, astrology and psychics. They always talk about meeting the next handsome man or great looking woman tomorrow evening.’ ‘Yes, some do – if they’re into fortune telling. But numerology is not about fortune telling,’ I told him. ‘Numerology is about WHO you are and WHAT you’re here to do. Numbers are abour YOU.’ Then a funny thing happened. Sebastian began asking me about himself. I gladly answered. He liked what I told him about his day of birth, the 30th. We looked at his radio personality name. Intrigued by now, he called for a commercial break so I could tally up his Life Purpose and Destiny Numbers. And so it usually goes with the power of numbers. Originally I was asked to be a guest on his morning show to talk about the candidates following Super Tuesday. Well it took a good 20 minutes to get to THAT topic. Sebastian definitely got it. Another way to use numbers is to look at dates. The dates of Benazir Bhutto and Heath Ledger’s deaths were very revealing. So was the date of May 30, 2005. When I heard that Joran Van Der Sloot talked about what happened that night with Aruba with Natalee Holloway, I took note. I have looked at the Natalee Holloway for some time. If you've followed the story, and it's hard not to have heard about it - her life ended tragically that fateful day. Her name adds up to a 12/3 – a number which has many good qualities. However, there is one major potential challenge with a 12 name – the person with this number can have a tendency to attract people who may do them harm. A 12 name is not an easy name, because you have to be on guard more than most. That can be especially hard for teenagers. So Natalee’s name gave her the tendency to ignore other people’s motives. What I wrote recently is that I didn’t think Joran killed Natalee. But I did think Natalee died early on May 30. He has now confirmed this to be the case. My sense about this being a tragic combination of alcohol and possible drugs plus overexertion seems to be confirmed. The date, May 30, gave me that clue. The Natalee Holloway incident is another example of why it’s important to know whether your current name is helping you or holding you back. Joran’s name, by the way, adds up to another very challenging number. When it comes to you and your children, make sure you have a fortunate name. I know it’s Super Tuesday, and will comment on that and more below. First I want you to know about the amazing ‘Dolphin Number.’ One of my friend’s sisters lives in south Florida on the ocean. One day, while out sailing with her husband and several of his male friends, she decided to take a swim and jumped off the sailboat. Very soon she was surrounded by a huge pod of dolphins. They formed a circle around her and made their singing sounds. She said it was an experience she’ll never forget. Within a few days of returning, my friend’s sister had a miscarriage. Good thing too, because, as it turned out, she had an ectopic pregnancy. She believes the dolphins ‘knew’ she had this potential dangerous situation and surrounded her to help her and alert her. Before you think me crazy, you may not realize that dolphins emit a focused blast of ultrasound vibrations. Scientists believe dolphins can view the inside of people’s bodies similar to a sonogram performed on pregnant women. Recently ABC news had a story on a woman named Rose, a long distance swimmer with chronic pain following surgery, who wanted to get back into the ocean. She tells how, whenever she is in severe pain, a pod of dolphins approaches and surrounds her. After her swims she has no pain for 10-12 days. These two stories and my own research prompted me to look at the ‘Dolphin Number.’ Amazingly, the word Dolphin adds up to 33/6 in the Chaldean system and 42/6 in the Pythagorean system. Both are a 6. The figure of the 6 represents a pregnant woman. It symbolizes a diaphragm expanding with air and eliciting sound. Numerologists say 6 is the number of the cosmic parent, counseling, family and compassion. 6 is also the number of singing, of the voice. Dolphins sound like they’re singing when they communicate. They are also particularly attracted to pregnant women. Studies worldwide show dolphins always hone in on the unborn fetus. Extraordinary studies in Russia document the effect daily dolphin interaction with a fetus has on the life of the baby after birth. 42 is a number of friendliness, generosity and helping others. There is a strong bond with children in this number. 33 is a number of compassion and giving. How fitting then that DOLPHIN is a 6. Many of my clients who have a prominent 6 in their Blueprint are teachers, doctors, counselors, parents or healers. The 6 helps them communicate intuitively with children, animals, patients and clients. If you have a 6 in your Personal Numerology Blueprint be careful not to overdo it. It’s easy to forget YOU need attention as well. Giving to others without taking time-outs to rejuvenate is common for those with the 6 vibration. Picture the dolphin frolicking and playing in the ocean to remind you to take care of your own needs. On another note - today is Super Tuesday. John McCain will most likely wrap up the Republican nomination tonight. Mitt Romney just does not have the numbers this year to make it all the way to the White House. Hillary and Barack will be slugging it out a while longer – tonight won’t give either one a guarantee as nominee. Clinton has a strong of 1-3-8 combo. This morning, while reading a book on great entrepreneurs I took note of something. Double digits were everywhere. Out of the 12 people profiled in the book, a whopping 10 had at least one double digit. Bill Gates wasn’t even one of the twelve. Not only does Gates have a double letter in his first name BiLL, he also has an 11 Essence Number. Others with an 11 Essence are Donald Trump, Martha Stewart and Sam Walton. Double digit letters are present in the names of J. Paul Getty, Coco Chanel, Hugh Hefner, Michael Dell, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Ross Perot. Getty also has a double digit Life Purpose Number – 29/11, as do Buckminster Fuller and Coco Chanel. These are only the folks I read about this morning. Which made me think about current personalities in the news as well. Such as the Manning family, all of whom have that double NN helping them succeed - Eli being the latest to join that honor. In the current race for Presidential Nominee, Hillary has the double L. Now look at McCain and Obama - both have an 11 Life Purpose Number. McCain also has the Double C in his name. The double creativity number 11 also helped the other Clinton, Bill, whose Life Purpose is 38/11, same as Madonna’s. Both also have a double letter in their names. Our current U.S. President, George Bush is a 33 Life Purpose. Ronald Reagan was born in 1911 – he also had the double RR. Plus his name adds up to 11. Jimmy Carter has the double MM. Kennedy the Double NN. Of course, double digits won’t guarantee success. But they do HELP you immensely in creating an environment where your goals are achieved faster and more effortlessly. How about your name and birthday. Let’s say you don’t have a Master Number in your Day, Essence or Life Purpose. That’s ok. You can always create one in your name. This is what makes numerology so valuable. YOU can call the shots. Just be sure your current name adds up to a fortunate number – otherwise the effect of a double letter won’t be very strong. Wow. What a game! It was riveting. It was thrilling. Eli and the Giants pulled off one of the biggest upsets in sports history. I guess I should have done the numbers on the Giants’ defensive line. No kidding. The guys who sacked Tom Brady four times and kept him from settling into a groove most of the game, were on fire. You could feel the fearlessness in the Giants. The Patriots never looked the part of an unbeatable, undefeated team. The current unpredictability in the upper echelon of sports and politics seems to be a big trend in 2008. When a wild card team wins the Super Bowl you know something’s in the air. Considering the same excitement and tension exists in the current political race for U.S. President, well, it makes me think we’re meant to be sitting on the edge of our seats during these times. Like we’re all having a major wake-up call. Change is in the air. And, not coincidentally, Eli Manning is tuned into the number of change. Number 5, the vibration of freedom, flexibility and change is not only his Life Purpose Number, but also his Personal Year Number in 2008. What a thrill it was to watch this young quarterback and younger brother of last year’s Superbowl Champion, Peyton Manning, come in with 4 minutes to go in that unbelievable 4th quarter - feeling like he OWNED the victory. Eli was an inspiration. He brought that adventurous spirit of the 5 to life in the most glorious manner last night. Superbowl 42 will be remembered for a LONG time. And so will Eli’s Number 10 Jersey in this 10/1 universal year of 2008. This sense of unpredictability will continue into Super Tuesday. In fact, my sense is that California, a state formerly owned by the Clintons may actually go to Obama tomorrow. We’ll soon find out. Note that even Super Tuesday takes place on February 5, a day of change. All this excitement can help YOU wake up. It’s as great a time as ever to be adventurous, reach for your highest goals and take the fearless path of least resistance. Just remember what Eli Manning and the Giants accomplished. I have to say – Tom Brady is incredible to watch on and off the field. His current flame Gisele Bündchen isn’t so bad either. More on their relationship below. Brady may enter legendary status by the time Sunday’s in the history books. Only 2 other quarterbacks have won four Super Bowls – Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw. Will the Patriots win their 19th straight. I believe so. With Tom Brady at the helm, they have it made - if the Giants don't shut him down. Let’s look at his numbers and then check out the date of the Super Bowl XLII, February 3. Tom’s Life Purpose Number demands that he lead, make a lot of monee and learn about abundance and power. Tom has an 8. Plus he’s born in the 8th month of August. How is he to fulfill his Life Purpose – well that answer lies in his Destiny Number. It’s an unexpected 106/7. Creativity, originality, divine protection and great responsibility all point to a person who is poised, has a brilliant mind and is a perfectionist. The 7 also means he can be alone and not be lonely. When looking at the attributes that make up a great quarterback, these two numbers, namely 8 and 7, make a great combo. First you’ve got the consummate leader and authority in the 8 coupled with the intuitive intelligence and analytical abilities of the 7. By the way, Eli Manning ALSO has a 7 Destiny Number. It’s a good number for quarterbacks who have to think on their two feet and make lightning-quick, intuitive decisions. But there’s one more important number in Brady’s blueprint which figures large – and will be especially activated tomorrow. Tom Brady was born on the 3rd. And yes, so was Eli Manning. This makes tomorrow's game so interesting, because tomorrow IS February 3. It shows, both these great athletes were almost fated to play in the ultimate game of the year. Brady has a couple of additional 3s going on in his life as well. His Personality Number is a 3. Ever wonder why Tom’s always smiling. Why he never complains. Why he’s so outgoing and relaxed. Well, it’s the double 3 in his blueprint. 3 is the number of effortless joy. A 3 person will usually be able to relax and entertain anyone, no matter how they’re feeling. Tom’s got that ‘aw shucks’ attitude. He’s comfortable in his own skin. Even Brady’s Jersey is a 12/3. Another great athlete with the same happy, relaxed disposition is Tiger Woods. Not surprisingly, he was born on December 30, giving him a 3 month and a 3 day. And, just for comparison’s sake, Tiger’s also got an 8 in his Blueprint – it’s his Destiny Number. Here’s the kicker. Tom is currently in a 21/3 Personal Year. 3 years are rewarding, happy cycles often bringing the ultimate realization of your goals. Tom has a great combination of numbers going for him for tomorrow’s Super Bowl. If I compare Tom’s currently active numbers to Eli’s, I have to say they’re somewhat better. Eli has a great year and day, but a not-so-great month. So… my bets are on the Patriots making history tomorrow with 19 straight wins and an undefeated season. I do think the Giants are going to make it a compelling game though, because Eli is on a roll. If you were talking numbers and intuition, you might just pick Eli. It's going to be close me thinks. What about Tom and Gisele. I see them getting married this year. Tom and Gisele have 3 out of 6 numbers in common. This is a very good sign for creating a union that lasts. It’s getting close to Superbowl Sunday - but today is an even more special day for me. Two reasons - the second of which you won’t want to miss. First, in a few hours from now my husband Clay is performing a violin recital on the Biltmore Estate – that’s the Vanderbilt’s family home. Then, he’s teaching a weekend Masterclass for students who have flown in from around the world. Last night I was looking at his Personal Day Number for today’s concert. Lo and behold it’s an 11. Amazing, I thought, since Clay has three 11s in his Personal Numerology Blueprint. Clay happens to BE a master – on the violin. He has toured as soloist worldwide and has performed on over 1000 motion picture soundtracks – many as concertmaster. You can hear him lead the orchestra in Titanic, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, the Matrix movies, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind to name a few. Imagine having this Master Number not once, not twice but THREE times in your Blueprint. Clay’s Life Purpose is an 11, his Destiny is an 11 and his Personality is an 11. That’s not easy. Because Master Numbers will challenge you more than other numbers. With an 11 he’s challenged to access his immense inner strength, his intuitive powers and his inborn creativity which is represented by the double 1. Is having a Master Number imperative to success? No. You don’t need one in your Blueprint in order to succeed at the highest levels. But more often than not, the greatest leaders, artists and sports stars have one tucked away somewhere in their blueprint. Take Patriot’s Quarterback Tom Brady, for example. On first glance there’s no visible sign of a double digit Master number in Brady’s blueprint. But when looking more closely I notice he was born on August 3. Add the 8, for August, to the 3 and you get an 11. This means Tom Brady’s M.O. is to be a Master – his attitude is to lead through creativity and originality. It also means people view him as a master of his craft, and that he approaches everything he does with a Masterful attitude. I will tell you a lot more about Tom Brady tomorrow. Then there’s Madonna. And German philosopher and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Marc Chagall. The greatest composer and prodigy ever – Mozart. Bob Hope. Harry Houdini. And Jim Brown. What do they have in common? An 11 Life Purpose Number. Of course, each of these highly successful icons had to practice, practice, practice. For hours they refined their gift and then rose to the highest levels. I can vouch for that fact. Clay practices every day, even when he’s traveling. He’ll do it at the airport. This drive to create and succeed is key to an 11 person. There are many more such examples.
