I’m on vacation in Arizona, and wasn’t planning on keeping up much with the news this week. While out eating dinner with friends last night, I was asked whether I had heard about Obama’s denouncement of Reverend Wright. ‘No,’ I said, ‘but I’m not surprised it happened yesterday.’ When asked why that was, I explained, ‘Obama’s personal blueprint is very active this month. Particularly yesterday. He was born on the 4th. April is the 4th month, so this month is always going to be a more confronting time of year for him.’ ‘His Life Purpose Number is 29/11. And yesterday was the 29th of April. So he had a double whammy of intense energy yesterday.’ I continued, ‘and since 29 is a master number – he was asked to master something, to rise to the occasion. In this case, he literally had to rise above the divisive views of a man, who has been part of his life for the past twenty years. That’s a tall order. So it’s no surprise his condemnation of Reverend Wright happened yesterday.’ What I didn’t tell my friends is that April 2008 happens to be a Personal Month for Obama which symbolizes looking within – being introspective. It’s about all things spiritual – and that would include religion. So it’s no surprise things came to a head with a religious leader in a very personal way for him this month, particularly yesterday. So teen sensation Miley Cyrus is apologizing for photos taken by Annie Liebovitz for Vanity Fair. Photos she supposedly liked. Both of her parents were at the photo shoot. And she didn’t protest at the time Liebovitz draped her in a sheet. Now some of her millions of fans are protesting. So, she decided to present a revised edition of what happened. Of course, the only reason Miley’s responding now is because of the media attention. Let's look at what her name 'Miley Cyrus' does for her. Miley legally changed her name from Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus last month. I recently wrote that her new name was a highly fortunate one. I was referring to her WHOLE new name though, with the ‘Ray’ intact. However, Miley is not using her middle name. Most folks don’t. So, now we can see the effect her current name ‘Miley Cyrus’ is having on her life. ‘Miley Cyrus’ adds up to a number division. Meaning, she’ll be pulled in two different directions at once. Two opposing energies. These opposing forces are challenging, because they will constantly ask her to compromise. Her individual identity will be torn. This Vanity Fair photo incident illustrates Miley’s two opposing sides. She’s famous for her wildly popular character ‘Hannah Montana’ role on the Disney Channel, soon to be major movie. It’s a wholeseome image pre-teens and their parents love. But Miley is also an aspiring pop star, and we all know how treacherous that road is for a young 15-year-old. You can see the duality – wild vs. innocent - which will get more pronounced as she matures. She’ll keep feeling divided about her life and image. I’m sure she’s a lovely teenage girl. Disney happens to have a lot riding on her sweet, girl-next-door image. And Miley won’t be able to hold out much longer. If she took on her complete legal name ‘Miley Ray Cyrus’ this transition from child to teenager would be a lot easier for her. Why? Because it adds up to an extremely lucky number. An enchanting number associated with people who express themselves eloquently, gives them compelling charisma and an incredible magnetic personality. Her full name gives her exactly what she herself has expressed as a goal. To bring happiness to others. So, if she’s listening, I recommend she take on her full new legal name immediately. It will smooth out any controversial or challenging situations which are bound to emerge with her current name, Miley Cyrus. Hillary is basking from her win in Pennsylvania. She obviously believes she can go all the way to the Democratic Nomination and the White House. As I’ve been saying, based on her name and numbers, she’s not going to make it. The people advising her that she CAN win, are playing right into her current name number which warns against listening to bad advice. Hillary Clinton was born on the 26th. Her name adds up the same number. So she has a double whammy. 26 is full of contradictions. Numerologists will tell you that there is abundance and wealth associated with the 26 because it adds up to an 8. This is true, and explains Clinton’s success. But there’s a warning too. She will always be prone to taking bad advice. In a nutshell, her life will have more obstacles to overcome than if she had a better name. Obstacles like her husband Bill. Who likes talking off the cuff – and puts his foot in his mouth. When you consider Hillary was the frontrunner and a shoo-in for the nomination all last year, it’s clear her challenges will be hard to overcome. Notice it’s been a lot harder for her to raise funds than it has for Obama. Well her current rival, Barack Obama, has a great name. And less hurdles to overcome. Especially in 2008 when his Personal Year Number is fantastic. Hillary has to learn to listen to only well-intentioned advice from others. Most importantly, she’s got to tune into her own hunches. That’s key with the number 26. Of course, she needs to respell her name as well. As for John McCain - his name is a fortunate one as well. I’ll be writing more about McCain vs. Obama in the future. As for your own name, consider it one of your MOST important assets. The name you’re using right now is a barometer. Allow it to help you. You’ll be in awe at what a difference a good name makes. I’ve never come across anyone in my 24 years as a numerologist with a name like Ellen DeGeneres’. Talk about needing her freedom. First a little about her blueprint. Ellen’s Destiny is to be a leader and her Life Purpose is Master Number 22 – the ‘Master Architect’ Number. A sense of urgency will always run through her life. This is because she’s here to do something special. My dad loved to drive his Austin Healey. I remember sitting in the tiny back seat as a child frightened out of my wits as he raced around the Washington Beltway. His own dad actually built cars and was a race car driver. Now, I haven’t followed racing, but when I heard about Danica Patrick winning her first Indy race in Japan yesterday, I took notice. In know how some professions are considered ‘off limits’ to women – and race car driving is one of them. In fact legend Richard Petty recently said when referring to Patrick, ‘I just don't think it's a sport for women, and so far, it's proved out. It's really not. It's good for them to come in. It gives us a lot of publicity, it gives them publicity. But as far as being a real true racer, making a living out of it, it's kind of tough.’ Danica has to be both tough AND fortunate to rise to the top, which she’s now proved she can do. Her name and Blueprint are a perfect blend of power, confidence, mastery and fortune. It also shows, why she’s been so successful getting endorsements. First her Destiny – Master Number 11. This vibration makes her a natural leader. Someone who achieves power and authority and often has control over a large company. Time for some fun. I’ve mentioned before how I’m a fan of figure skating. Recently I became a fan of ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ Yesterday, while Clay was downstairs recording a DVD, I was catching up with Monday’s show. It’s great how you can access full shows online and skip all the commercials. What drew me in this year is none other than Olympic Gold Medalist, Kristi Yamaguchi. As it turns out she’s the favorite to win. Funny how this physically demanding competition favors world-class athletes. Like NFL running back Emmit Smith, 3 time Super Bowl champion and the NFL's all time rushing leader. He won in 2006. Or Olympic Gold Medalist speed-skater Apolo Anton Ohno. Winner in the Spring of 2007. Followed by two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, Helio Castroneves who won ‘Dancing With The Stars’ at the end of last year. This time around, the only other amateur coming close to matching Kristi and her pro dance partner, Mark Ballas, is another athlete - NFL Man of the Year Award-winner and Defensive End, Jason Taylor. Let’s not forget Marlee Matlin. Not an athlete, but she’s deaf. Imagine not hearing the music, just a faint rumbling rhythm. This Oscar-winning actress is a huge inspiration. Talk about overcoming your fears - on live national television. I particularly like one of the other pros – dancer Derek Hough. Yes, I know his younger sis Julianne won the past two years. I wasn’t watching then. But one thing I know. Whether Derek wins with his amateur partner, actress and poker player Shannon Elizabeth this year or not, he IS going to make it big. In fact, Derek and his sister Julianne both share the SAME current name vibration – the Immortality Number. Meaning both siblings will leave behind a legacy. Derek‘s Life Purpose Number is 36/9. An incredibly emotional and expressive vibration. 9 is the number of completion and signifies leadership. 36 gives him high ideals. He’s intuitive and loves very deeply. It’s all part of the fast and furious tempo common in a 5 Personal Year. Derek will undergo many changes in 2008. He’s experiencing the feeling of freedom that comes with abundance, travel, and yes, possibly marriage which is also favorable this year for him. While I was preparing a show on the Beatles’ numerology for my radio show last week, I made a major discovery. It literally made me gasp. Today, I’m going to share the secret with you. Once again, the old saying ‘It’s All In A Name’ rings true. But this time there’s a special twist, befitting the Beatles immense importance. I personally think they belong right up there with Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. I started by creating a Personal Blueprint for John Lennon. Looked at his date of death as well. Then came Paul McCartney. They had a couple of numbers in common. Makes a lot of sense, I thought. Since they collaborated and came up with gems we’ll be listening to forever. Even before they formed the Beatles, McCartney and Lennon began writing songs together. Then I created George Harrison’s blueprint. And I noticed the same connection to Paul and John. I almost didn’t want to know whether Ringo Starr fit into the same equation. To my amazement, he did. Here is what I found. All four lads – John, Paul, George and Ringo – have the SAME Soul Number. The Soul Number symbolizes what you bring with you. This part of you may not be easily recognized by others - unless they know you very well. The Soul Number is your inner secret. This vibration becomes an underlying force which influences the actions of your present life. In a few hours Pope Benedict XVI arrives in the U.S. Cardinal Ratzinger, as he was known in Germany is much more private than John Paul II was. By that I mean, he’s reserved and not as outgoing. What fascinates me, is that Cardinal Ratzinger chose the name Pope Benedict XVI. Those three Roman Numerals, XVI, add up to 16. Two things here. He was BORN on the 16th, a vibration that adds up to 7. And, if there was ever ‘private number’, it is the 7. Additionally, 16 is not a number I would have encouraged him to emphasize again, since it symbolizes ‘a fall from a high place.’ So, it will be interesting to watch what happens to the papacy during Benedict XVI’s reign. Yes, Benedict will keep things under wraps and private. But, by all accounts, he is a brilliant conversationalist at the dinner table. Conversing at a dinner table is one thing – connecting with your constituents is another. However, his Life Purpose, or lesson in this life, IS to communicate, to connect with people. Like Pope John Paul II did for so many years. But the 7 and 3 combo make this challenging for him. Interestingly, Pope Benedict is in a 21/3 Personal Year. So, he’ll be asked to communicate - he’ll be given plenty of opportunities to learn how to connect personally and deeply with an audience in 2008. Just as John McCain’s Life Purpose is asking more of him this year, Pope Benedict’s is as well. Benedict was also elected Pope on a 21/3 Day back on April 18, 2005. You see how his Life Purpose Number appears during important events to nudge him and help him grow. I believe his visit to the U.S. during his Personal Year of 21/3, is no coincidence. Contrast that to John Paul who thrived on these give-and-take exchanges, which made him look human - and endeared him to many non-Catholics as well. ‘Pope Benedict’ adds up to a number suggesting he feels emotional stress at times and may forget previously learned lessons. He loves to educate himself. To read, learn and inquire. But he may forget to look INSIDE for wisdom. That’s why this is not an easy number. When you add the Roman numerals XVI to his name, you get a vibration of frustrating contradictions. On the one hand ‘Pope Benedict XVI’ can achieve immense success. On the other hand he may trust the wrong people and have to face powerful opposition. It’s a cautious vibration that requires constant discipline. Like everyone on this planet, you have a choice. You can chose a current name which helps you or not. Make sure you KNOW what your name resonates to. It’s in your best interest not to ignore this ancient knowledge. Occasionally I’ll turn on the news - mostly for laughs. Like yesterday. Just in time hear about Obama’s gaffe at a recent ‘cloed door’ fundraiser. With cell phones to catch every move, it makes me wonder how far technology will go next time we have an election year in 2012. Will we be watching reality-election-tv, uncut and uncensored. To the point where we’re debating every moment in a candidate’s life. Probably so. By then, voters will change their minds as fast as it takes a ping pong ball to cross back in forth during a heated game. So, how did John McCain bypass the current heat and rise to the top. In numerology it’s called - no contest. None of the other leading Republicans, besides Huckabee, had a good number going into 2008. Their Personal Years did not cut it. Especially when up against McCain’s. Not Giuliani, not Mitt Romney, not Ron Paul and not Fred Thompson. The exception was Mike Huckabee. But, by the time Americans heard about him, he had too much ground to cover and too little funds to do so. Notice, McCain was NOT the frontrunner for all of 2007. Giuliani and Hillary took the top spot respectively and were pretty much guaranteed the nomination. Then a funny thing happened. We entered a new year. Very soon McCain began his winning streak. By February 5 it was a foregone conclusion. Romney also saw the writing on the wall and drops out. Here’s why. John McCain has two important numbers which helped him leap over his competition. First, he’s in a 29/11 Personal Year. This is a Master Number, so it will ask more of him – however, he’ll get more in return. But, the icing on the cake is that 29/11 ties into his Personal Numerology Blueprint in a huge way. McCain was BORN on the 29th. AND his Life Purpose Number is an 11. When either your Day of Birth, Destiny or Life Purpose Numbers tie into a Personal Year – you can bet on the fact that you will progress rapidly. In John’s case, he had not one, but Two of his three most important numbers tie into his Personal Year in 2008. When that vibration happens to be a Master Number, as it is for McCain, achieving success can be even greater. It doesn’t mean it will be easy. Mastery takes great skill, honesty and concentration. It requires more effort – but, in return, it promises greater rewards. The second important fact in this equation is his current name. ‘John McCain’ which adds up to the ‘Immortality Number.’ His is an extremely fortunate vibration and gives him the ability to rise above the trials and difficulties earlier in life. A few months ago I had dinner with my friend Dr. Dharma in Tampa. He showed me three photos. I was wowed. The photos he showed me were of his teacher, Yogi Bhajan. They portrayed different times in his life. By the time I looked at the third photograph I felt like his eyes took me into my own soul and outer space – all at the same time. By the way, that lightness of energy was recently displayed on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ by another 37 - Steve Guttenberg. His happiness was totally genuine and is a great example of this uplifting quality. Of course, 37 adds up to 1, the number of creativity and originality. I’ve always liked Halle Berry. While catching up on emails last week during a rainy morning, I noticed one reader asking whether Halle’s newborn girl had a good name. I was intrigued. 40 years ago, yesterday, my husband Clay vividly remembers walking out of a church service in Santa Monica and hearing the news of Martin Luther King’s assassination. He was just a young lad, but knew about Dr. King from his family and school. When I was reminded of the date yesterday – my jaw dropped. You see, I’ve been doing some research on America’s Destiny. And MLK’s assassination fell on a day which is fateful in U.S. history. The number 4 is one of the most important symbols for America. The U.S. was born on the 4th. And many history-changing events have occurred on the 4th, 13th or 22nd of the month. The two most earth-shaking events were Dr. King and John F. Kennedy’s assassinations. JFK died on November 22nd. A 4 Day. However, Martin Luther King Jr’s death had another hugely significant connection to America’s destiny. He was murdered on a day for which the total numbers add up to 32/5. 32/5 just happens to be the Life Purpose Number for the U.S.A. It’s the Freedom number. 32/5 stands for liberation and change. What this shows is King’s life and death had a powerful effect on America’s Destiny. The sudden end of his life shocked Americans and the world. Last Friday I had a fascinating phone call with a friend of mine. His father knows the Dalai Lama. I’ll tell you about our call in a minute. Recently the Dalai Lama has been in the news. It’s no surprise that the stories are about freedom – or the lack of it. As it happens, the Dalai Lama is in a 23/5 Personal Year. A pivotal period of change. This is a year for taking risks in order to obtain freedom. Not only that, but he happens to be the 14th Dalai Lama. 14 is known as ‘The Media Number’ but it also resonates to 5. So his quest for freedom will be covered and even helped through all media exposure. When the Dalai Lama was born, and no one knew his destiny, his parents named him Llhamo Döndrub. It shows again how most parents tune into the subconscious when naming their children. Why do I say this. Because his name at birth adds up to the perfect Destiny Number for him. It gifts him with an analytical mind and an enormous appetite to life’s hidden mysteries. It guarantees he won’t be satisfied until he can link the known with the unknown. Discovering hidden facts is one of his missions. His fine mind offers him insight into the veiled mysteries of life. The wisdom of his Destiny Number ensures that he stands alone from the crowds.
