Steve Jobs returned to work as CEO of Apple yesterday, after a long absence. Turns out he had a liver transplant two months ago.
His last major health scare, surgery for pancreatic cancer, occurred in 2004.
Both 2009 and 2004 were turning points for him personally.
In 2004, Jobs was in a 14/5 Personal Year. 5 Years fall in right in the middle of your nine-year cycle, so they can often be pivot points. Since 5 is a number about change, adventure, risk, movement and unexpected events, unforeseen experiences often occur during this cycle.
For Jobs, the number 5 is especially significant since it ties directly into his 10/1 Life Purpose and 10/1 Destiny. 1 and 5 form a trilogy with the number 7. So Jobs will always experience major events during 1, 5 and 7 cycles.
His secret liver transplant took place earlier this year in April down in Memphis, Tennessee.
Amazingly, April was a 5 Personal Month for him.
He returned back to Apple yesterday. June is a 7 Personal Month for Jobs.
And 2009 just so happens to be a 1 Personal Year for the CEO of Apple.

What a few days it's been. Yesterday morning Farrah Fawcett passed away and a few hours later, Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson's sudden death from cardiac arrest was a shock.
I heard about it after a fun day out of town. My stepmother texted me about the news on my iPhone.
Michael was in full swing for the first time in many years. His big London concerts were about to kick off on July 13. According to witnesses he was as happy as EVER with the rehearsals the day before he died.
So for him, he left this earth on a happy and high note.
How appropriate that he is in a 30/3 Personal Year in 2009 - the number of performing and self-expression. What a perfect cycle for him to leave us.
He truly was a genius performer, bringing the world the Moonwalk, break-dancing and incredible music.
Fittingly his 29/11 Day of Birth indicates he had natural mastery. It also shows he could have felt very divided about his decisions and his life.
Jackson was notorious for hiring and firing employees. Since 29/11 reduces to 2, he would have wanted close relationships in his life. His sensitivities and quirks would have made it difficult for him to find people he trusted - another sign of the 29.
Michael's Destiny was an 80/8 and showed why he had a natural gift to acquire both the top spot in pop and attract a fortune.
With an 8 Destiny, there can be a tendency to make - and lose - more than one fortune, and Michael certainly fit that picture. Monee is a major keyword for anyone who has an important 8 in his or her birth blueprint - making it, defining what it means and spending it.
Jackson's 42/6 Life Purpose and 33/6 Soul tie into the parental and family vibration. Being a parent and having children in his life would have brought him much joy.

A friend of this newsletter sent an email to me this morning asking me if I had seen the number on top of the ambulance that took Jackson to the hospital. It was 71 - another 8.
Let's look at the 71, another clue. Amazingly June is a 17/8 Universal Month. 17 is the Immortality Number. Jackson's ambulance gives a clue that this number 8 was a hugely powerful force in his life, and that he will be remembered - however not necessarily the way he wanted. That's because the 71 is 17 in reverse.
Michael's Neverland Ranch was his fantasy retreat from the world of fame. He often confided he would remain young forever. He had a great aversion to growing old and his Peter Pan Neverland fantasy was created to create this sense of immortality.
Jackson got his wish. He died right before his big moment on the world stage on July 13 - the number of Genius and Transformation.
He was in a 9 Personal Month, the number of endings, culmination and release.
So he died in the midst of doing what he does best - perform. In a personal year that was all about being on stage again. In some ways his whole life was being lived on a kind of real and make-believe stage.
Yesterday was June 25th, a 25/7 Day. Amazingly for Michael personally, yesterday was a 43/7 Personal Day.
Double 7, the number indicating spiritual connection and privacy.
Farrah Fawcett also passed away yesterday. She was another very private star. I will write about her life shortly.
Yesterday after a fun day with my daughter Claire, I heard that TV legend Ed McMahon had passed away. He was 86 years old.
What immediately caught my attention was his age - 86 reduces to 14, the Media Number. What better way to describe McMahon, Johnny Carson's Tonight Show sidekick for three long decades. I remember his 'Heeeere's Johnny' as if it was yesterday.
Interestingly Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon have a very important number in common. In fact it ties directly into the Media Number and explains why their TV relationship lasted so long.
The number I'm referring to is 23/5.
Ed McMahon passed away yesterday, June 23. He was born in the 23rd year of last century, 1923.
Johnny Carson was born on the 23rd. He had a 23/5 Life Purpose Number. And he also died on a 23/5 Day just like Ed McMahon.
This is a very strong pattern between the two.
Any number which reduces to 5 is aligned with the media, taking risks, a magnetic personality, adventure and multiple talents in many different arenas. 5 also represents the 5 senses, so 5 people love to explore everything and travel the world - either physically or in their imagination.
23/5 symbolizes the Royal Star of the Lion - it gives extra strength and bestows rewards and protection from people in high positions of power.
Johnny Carson had a Double 23 in his birth blueprint. Very rarely do I see the same two-digit number repeated like this. He definitely used his gifts to benefit from the strength and success this highly fortunate number brings.
Ed McMahon also had a double number going for him - the number 6. He was born on the 6th and his full birthday, or Life Purpose Number, adds up to 24/6.
And when you look at the tributes to McMahon you'll know that much of his skill was making OTHER people look good. He loved helping others. He wanted others to shine - and this is totally in line with the parental 6. You can liken this number to a proud parent who loves seeing his or her children succeed.
A perfect number for McMahon who was really there to make Johnny Carson and all the other guests comfortable.
Recently Ed McMahon had some major financial challenges.
His current name, 'Ed McMahon' would have attracted some challenges, since it adds up to 11/2.
'Johnny Carson' on the other hand had a highly fortunate current name number - 45/9. In fact this vibration demanded that he use his own original ideas and not be intimidated or influenced by opinions that differed from his. He certainly followed that rule and reaped a rich harvest.
Here's something else I discovered that's fascinating.

Off camera Johnny was quiet and private, reflecting his 7 Destiny, the most private of numbers.
In contrast, McMahon had a big huggable warm personality on and off the stage and was known for his huge heart. His double 6, the number representing parental love and compassion, reflects who he was to a tee.

Let's look at the Letterman-Palin story first.
David Letterman and Sarah Palin have one thing in common - the number 12 - and that's pretty much all they share with each other.
Sarah Palin has a 12 current name and Letterman was born on the 12th. Since this number can indicate being a victim or victimizer, it's no surprise to me that the recent spat between these two directly tapped into this quality.
On top of that, Letterman has a triple 10/1 in his birth blueprint.
This makes him super ambitious, original, highly creative and independent. A triple 10/1 gives him a quick mind and the ability to manifest thoughts and actions with lightning speed. On the flipside, he can also be controlling and egotistical.
Let's add his name 'David Letterman' to the equation and a picture of a very complicated, brilliant man emerges.
That's because his name adds up to 13/4 - the genius number. He's definitely out-of-the-box in his monologues and prides himself on his unique and sarcastic sense of humor.
But a 13/4 current name also brings obstacles. It's a very powerful number. If this power is used for selfish reasons, life can get challenging.
There's also a warning of the unknown and unexpected with the number 13 names. Since comedians thrive on surprising their audiences, this can be a plus on the one hand and a challenge when it comes to his life.
As for Sarah Palin, her 12 current name will place her in situations where she keeps feeling like a victim. When people with 12s - like Letterman and Palin interact, sparks can fly.
Both also happen to be in more emotional Personal Cycles this year, so their emotions may get stirred up more than usual in 2009.
Letterman has to be careful. 2009 is an 18/9 Personal Year for him. This means he needs to watch his health and get his environment in order. 9 cycles will always ask you to do a major spring cleaning in every part of your life.

Both Palin and Letterman would benefit greatly from a slight respelling of their names.

I'm not surprised Iran is in the news again. 2009 is a major, volatile cycle for this country.
The current election results and their aftermath are explained by looking at the name and numerology of two candidates - especially in conjunction with Iran's current numbers.
In 2009 Iran is experiencing the number 16/7.
A 16/7 cycle will always bring sudden events. When it comes to a country, 16 years often include volatile, challenging situations. The ancients described this number as "a tower struck by lightning from which a person is falling with a crown on his or her head.'
So in 2009 Iran is confronted with a cycle of danger and unexpected challenges.
On the other hand, 16/7 cycles give an amazing opportunity to tune inwards for guidance - instead of lashing out. If there is one thing that warns you of danger it is your intuition. So it's imperative for Iranians to check their 'inner gut' this year. It will keep them from being taken advantage of by unseen forces - which are often pulling the strings and instigating chaos behind the scenes.
As for the two candidates, there is SO much coming to a head THIS month - especially in relation to Iran.
June is a 22/4 Personal Month for Iran.
Interestingly the election took place on June 12 - 12 can symbolize 'the victim' and adds another layer to this already complicated and powerful series of numbers.
The election took place on a 25/7 Personal Day for Iran.
I notice right off that Iran's 25/7 Personal Day on Sunday ACTIVATED this country's 16/7 Personal Year. Clearly when looking through the lense of numerology, that June 12 set off a volatile series of numbers.
And since Iran's Life Purpose Number is 31/4, June - a 22/4 Personal Month for Iran - adds another layer of highly charged energy to the equation.
Bring in President Ahmadinejad who just so happens to be in 22/4 Personal Year throughout 2009.
So the President's current 22/4 personal year is directly lined up with his country's personal month of 22/4 in June.
Amazingly Ahmadinejad's opponent, Mir-Hossein Moussavi, has a 22/4 currrent name AND is in a 31/4 Personal Year - ALSO connecting him directly to Iran's 31/4 Life Purpose and 22/4 Personal Month right now. This is one of the main reasons he is still able to put up a fight against President Ahmadinejad. You'll see why in a moment.
So these two candidates are have identical cycles happening at the SAME time which just so happen line up directly with the cycles of Iran.
Here's why Ahmadinejad has the upper hand - stolen election or not.
His 10/1 current name 'President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad', his 10/1 Day of Birth, AND his 10/1 Destiny are ALL being fully activated in June. 10/1 is the Instant Manifestation Number and means he will manifest his thoughts, feelings and goals very, very quickly - good or bad.
Even without the title of President, his name 'Mahmoud Ahmadinejad' resonates to a powerful number.
On the other hand, his opponent, 'Mir-Hossein Moussevi' has a more challenging current name number, a 22/4. It DOES connect him to Iran, but at the same time, a 22/4 current name will often result in obstacles.
As I said before, Mousssevi is able to get so much traction because his current cycles are lined up with Iran's numbers in 2009.
As for how Iran will fare - that is open to question. This powerful country has the official name of 'Islamic Republic of Iran' - a 25/7 current name.
Notice that this name also activates the 16/7 Iran is experiencing all year. There's a lot of pressure building right now and it will need to be released and dissipated. I wish the citizens of this beautiful and ancient nation well as they go through another major transition.

Newsflash: If you haven't heard, Carrie Prejean was fired from her job as Miss California.
In the past weeks Prejean has appeared all over the news due to an answer she gave in April at the Miss USA pageant. She came in second that evening but has garnered far more attention than most winners of the pageant could ever dream of.
There's a reason her story is still being covered weeks later.
It all began on April 19, 2009 thanks to a question by Perez Hilton. Prejean's answer caused a media frenzy and some say, cost her the crown.
On that day two of Carrie Prejean's important numerology birth numbers were activated. What were they? April was a 6 Personal Month for her and the 19th a 7 Personal Day.

Look at Ann Coulter. Her name also adds up to 14 in the ancient
Chaldean system I use for your current name. Coulter's success as an
author and commentator thrives on being controversial.

profile Hollywood celebrities and politicians, as you'll see in this

So if the former Miss California 2009 plays her cards well, her career as a media personality is a given.
I'm realizing more and more that families have numbers in common. Like a 'numbers genetics'.
Take the Hemingway family for example. A few weeks ago I looked at Ernest Hemingway's birth blueprint. I was struck by one number that was repeated over and over again.
Then I checked his two famous granddaughters' blueprints. Both Mariel and Margaux Hemingway have this number - but in different degrees - as well. I'll explain how it affected each of them, especially Margaux, in a moment.
Ernest Hemingway's life and work are legendary. He led an adventurous, creative and lonely, qualities reflected in his birth numbers.
Hemingway was born on the 21st, a 3 Day.
He has a 10/1 Essence and a 37/10/1 Life Purpose Number.
His Destiny is 111/3.
His Soul Number is 46/10/1.
And his complex Personality fittingly was a 65/11.
Notice the number 1 appears everywhere in his blueprint. Even Hemingway's 111/3 Destiny and 21/3 Day of Birth include the number 1.
In fact his 111/3 Destiny is very, very powerful. He shares it with Henry Kissinger and the Ayatollah Khomeini.
Hemingway was destined to be in a leadership position. With so many 1s, his ego would have the tendency to inflate as well. 1 is like the letter I, representing 'me'.
Why did he become a writer?
Because his 3 Day of Birth and 3 Destiny are about self-expression - writing, performing, being on stage, having a voice that expresses feelings.
As for his many 1s, they influenced his life in a major way. 1s are creative, sensitive, obstinate, independent, focused and ambitious. Hemingway was only 18 years old when he walked into the newsroom of the Kansas City Star and began his writing career.
1s prefer to do it alone, their way is often the ONLY way - so writing fits the bill perfectly. This number can also be self-centered and proud.

When a number is so predominant, there is a flipside. And so it was with the Hemingway family. Why did so many members of his family take their own lives - his father, his siblings Ursula and Leicester, and his granddaughter Margaux.
Let's look at Margaux who had several health issues. Her 29/11 Life Purpose and a 10/1 Destiny activate the 1 as well. She passed away on a 1 Day. Margaux also had a challenging current name number, which did not help matters. Remember your Current name activates your birth blueprint in a certain way - positively, neutrally or negatively.
Fortunately Margaux's younger sister, the lovely and HEALTHY Mariel Hemingway, is not continuing this pattern. Paying attention to her physical and emotional health is one of the key reasons that Mariel is thriving inside and out.
Also, Mariel does Not have a number in her blueprint which reduces to 1 - though this number makes an appearance in a 110/2 Destiny and her current name.
Note that their father Jack Hemingway, Ernest's first son, was born on October 10 and died on December 1, continuing the string of 1s. In fact Hemingway's brother Leicester was also born on a 1 Day.
You may be asking whether this number is a challenging one to have in your blueprint. NO.
1 happens to set up a particular pattern in this famous family. Diabetes runs in the Hemingway family. 1s can feel isolated and lonely - especially when ill. This number is all about independence. When a physical or mental illness or addiction enters into the picture - the independent feeling can feel shattered. The ego can fall into a depression.
1s are very sensitive and proud. So, they may not turn to others for help. This self-imposed isolation during an illness is one of the main reasons so many Hemingways ended their lives early.
Mariel Hemingway has made health and wellness a very important part of her life. She has turned the family tradition around by becoming the master of her mind, body and spirit. I love her for her indomitable spirit. She has turned tragedy into triumph.
Keep in mind the number 1 can manifest anything with lightning speed.
So 1 is a wonderful, original number to have in your blueprint. With a positive mindset, this number creates miracles.
Last weekend we were in Los Angeles for a special screening of Pixar's Up. What a treasure this movie is. I absolutely loved it.
We watched the movie in a beautiful theater with all the amazing people behind the soundtrack - including the genius composer, Michael Giacchino who also wrote the music for Ratatouille, Lost, The Incredibles and Star Trek.
Up touched me deeply and so I wanted to know more about the release date and the name.
I'm happy to report there is lots of good news.
Amazingly the name 'Up' adds up to the Media Number. Very, very fortunate for a movie since it gives the film magnetic attraction AND people will want to spread the word. That's because 5 symbolizes crowds of people.

In the past weeks I've been asked about Jon and Kate Gosselin. I had no idea who they were. Knowing that celebrity and current events are often great examples when it comes to sharing the amazing world of names and numbers, I decided to check into Jon and Kate.
For all of you in the dark like I was, the Gosselins have eight kids - 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets. Their show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a TV hit and has made them millionaires.
It's being reported that Jon and Kate's marriage is on the rocks. Supposedly he may have had an affair. Let's have a look at Jon first.

So there can be uncertainties, divisions - plus these numbers show he can experience anxiety issues with women.
Developing an optimistic outlook on life is crucial for Jon - optimism and faith in the power of goodness is the miraculous medicine for his powerful numbers combo.

This morning the sad news broke of David Carradine's sudden death in a hotel in Bangkok Thailand.
It's not clear what happened, though most likely it wasn't due to natural causes. Amazingly his name and numbers reflect this as well.
In a moment I'll share the stunning numbers that were active for him yesterday, and why his name played such a big role.
David Carradine was born on the 8th, his Destiny is 98/17/8 and his Soul is an 8. This Triple 8 gave him a lot of power. No wonder he portrayed strong leaders - Carradine is best known for his work in the 1970's television series Kung Fu and more recently in the movie Kill Bill.
As for how this man with so many 8s ended up in show business, you only have to look as far as his Life Purpose Number, 30/3. Anyone with a major 3 has to express himself on some kind of stage - as an actor, author, performer, speaker, teacher or healer.

After 25 years I have found that people with a 30/3 Life Purpose often blossom later rather than early in life. In fact, they are more afraid of 'being on stage' than most - but once they crack open that door, they feel like they have finally 'come home.'
Back to Carradine's numbers - they are so relevant as to what happened yesterday.
