On Thursday the great singer-songwriter Donna Summer passed away. She was only 63.
Summer was known as the Queen of Disco, though she wasn’t too comfortable with that label, preferring to be known for her rock’n roll roots. One of her big hits “She Works Hard for the Money” reflected her love of rock.
Yet, she is remembered foremost for her pulsating disco songs “I Feel Love”, “Last Dance” and “Love to Love You Baby”.
Donna Summer had an unforgettable voice. Her legacy will transcend time.
Not surprisingly the Numbers Code activated on the day she died, May 17, 2012, reflects who she was (a power house!) and what she leaves behind. (more…)

A recent news item on bullying caught my attention. I was curious how Mitt Romney would address the story.
I know about bullying firsthand and feel very strongly that violence be confronted with fearless honesty and compassion – for all involved.
Here was an opportunity for Mitt Romney to self-reflect and heal an event that had brought trauma. At a prep school in Michigan Romney had taunted a younger student whose looks he didn’t like. Later he led a hazing against the student whose head was forcibly held down by his friends while Romney cut his hair.
After the story was brought to light, Romney’s campaign spokesman said, “Governor Romney has no memory of participating in these incidents.”
Romney apologized on radio, saying “I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks during high school, and some might have gone too far, and for that I apologize.”
The thing is, apologies are not worth their weight in gold if there is no self-reflection. (more…)
Today is May 8, a day of empowerment and abundance. The number 8 and the sign of Taurus are aligned with value and our inner values.
As you know, 2012 adds up to 5 – the Universal Year of Freedom.
What I’ve found in the many years of coaching people is that they don’t feel free, nor do they feel valued. Rather, they feel obligated to do things, or obligated to serve others.
If you are currently in a relationship, career or living a lifestyle that is not happy and fulfilling, then it’s time to look within and ask yourself:
Do I need to be in a relationship with this person or this situation?
If the answer is NO, then you have arrived at a fork in the road – a real pivot point symbolized by the Number 5 of 2012. (more…)
This weekend the moon will appear 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter and make one of it’s most magnificent appearances in years.
It’s especially large because the exact moment of perigee (moon’s closest approach to Earth) coincides nearly a minute after the perfectly full moon. The full moon occurs at 11:34 p.m. EST on May 5, and the perigee will occur at 11:35 pm. To compare, during Last year’s Super Moon on March 19, the perigee and full moon were 50 minutes apart.
The Super Moon takes place at 16 degrees in Scorpio – Wow! Pay attention to your feelings this weekend! You are releasing patterns and beliefs about yourself that you no longer need from this day forward. (more…)

How refreshing to get two eyewitness accounts about what is REALLY happening in one of the most important and volatile regions in the world.
One of those speakers was Emmy-Award-winning reporter Amber Lyon.
I first discovered Amber’s investigative reporting when I happened to catch a segment on CNN back in the Spring of 2010. Her report with Philippe Cousteau was raw and passionate – rare in mainstream media nowadays.
Amber calls a spade a spade. No surprise then that her CNN investigative reporting team was just dissolved.

Over the weekend my daughter had a friend sleep over at our house. As I was getting dressed Sunday morning, I heard a loud CRASH in the kitchen.
Uh-oh, I thought. Hope the girls are ok.
I came out a minute later and the two girls were nowhere to be found. Then I noticed a pile of broken pieces on the kitchen counter. One of the large handmade plates I had commissioned from a beautiful ceramics shop in a little town north of Barcelona, Spain had fallen on the floor and shattered. (more…)
2012 teaches us that once you focus on what you fear most, you are set free.
With flowers in bloom everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, rebirth and adventure are in the air. Spring allows us to experience the myriad beauty of nature by reveling in the rebirth of flowers, plants and trees.
Spring symbolizes new beginnings and Autumn symbolizes endings – both are integral to LIFE and CREATION.
It’s easy to love birth. It is harder to love death.
Yet, in order to self reflect, you must always be in a state of transformation. In other words, to engage in balanced relationships, your carefully constructed self image must be constantly released in order to make room for your Soul.
The death of one makes way for the re-flowering of the other. (more…)
