President Bush just gave the national Thanksgiving Turkey a full Presidential pardon. The turkey and its alternate were named May and Flower.
But not before Dick Cheney suggested the birds be named Lunch and Dinner. I can’t relate since I don’t eat turkey. It got me thinking though about the man behind the scenes – the vice president.
What are his numbers, and how has he amassed so much power?
After all he’s been everything BUT President, including the President of the Senate, White House Chief of Staff, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Wyoming, and Secretary of Defense. Under President Gerald Ford, Cheney worked as Assistant to the President, then became Chief of Staff to President Ford. Additionally, Cheney was campaign manager for Ford's 1976 Presidential Campaign.
That’s in the public sector. In the private sector, he’s been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Halliburton Company, as we all know.
Dick Cheney’s current name adds up to 7. You may not believe this, but as a 7 he has interest in mystical subjects, such as ancient mysteries, UFO’s, and mythology – anything concerning the ‘unknown.’ He also has a gift of intuition, which gives him a calming, quieting influence over others, including President Bush. His presence in a room will often have a soothing effect on people who are troubled.
Cheney has unique and unorthodox beliefs about politics and religion. When he thinks and brainstorms, he comes up will all sorts of original, even strange ideas. He likes traveling extensively.
Dick Cheney really needs financial security in order not to be anxious about the future – common with the 7. This is where Halliburton comes in. Cheney has and will continue to earn large amounts of money with his original ideas. He’s also likely to make large contributions to charities and/or institutions.
The 7 name makes Cheney secretive. He will rarely, if ever, discuss his ambitions with others, partly because they have a philosophical reason behind them. At the same time friends, colleagues and relatives ask him for advice.
Since Dick Cheney keeps his own challenges private, he won’t ask prying questions. He’ll also get turned off by anything he considers to be an invasion of his own or another person’s privacy. This quality serves him well for his role as Vice President, Chief of Staff and campaign manager.
When Cheney thinks and brainstorms, he comes up will all sorts of original – even strange – ideas. Others would probably be fascinated by his way of thinking – that is if he trusts them enough to share his thoughts.
Adding the qualities of his 7 name to the number of his Destiny, 8, and the number of his Life Purpose, 1, shows that he is a man with a super intense drive to lead, amass a fortune, and micromanage others.
The 7, 8 and 1 person will want to work alone – not with others. So there are personal conficts in terms of public service – being part of a team does NOT come easily to him.
Then I looked at his day of birth, 30. This number also describes someone who prefers to be alone with his thoughts. Social functions and public gatherings are not of great interest to Cheney.
30 also symbolizes a person who can make thoughtful deductions, has retrospection and a kind of mental superiority over others. He’ll be most fulfilled when he retreats from the hustle and bustle of life. No surprise he loves his ranch in Wyoming, a state I would consider pretty isolated.
So even his 30 Day of Birth indicates a solitary and yet rewarding life.
With these numbers, I would have kept Cheney as head of the Defense Department or appointed him head of the CIA. He’s better suited to those leadership positions, which are secret and private, rather than as Vice President.
Thursday will be his last Turkey Dinner as vice president. By this time next year Cheney will be ready for major changes in his life. I’ll elaborate on that at a later date.
