On Thursday the great singer-songwriter Donna Summer passed away. She was only 63.

Summer was known as the Queen of Disco, though she wasn’t too comfortable with that label, preferring to be known for her rock’n roll roots. One of her big hits “She Works Hard for the Money” reflected her love of rock.

Yet, she is remembered foremost for her pulsating disco songs “I Feel Love”, “Last Dance” and “Love to Love You Baby”.

Donna Summer had an unforgettable voice. Her legacy will transcend time.

Not surprisingly the Numbers Code activated on the day she died, May 17, 2012, reflects who she was (a power house!) and what she leaves behind.

17 is the Number of Immortality –her songs will continue to live on. 17 adds up to 8, the infinity symbol of longevity and power.

Notice that Summer was 63 years-old. 63 adds up to the root number 9, symbolizing culminations, endings and letting go. Isn’t it amazing then that Summer was experiencing an 11 Personal Year as well, since 11 cycles indicate Double New Beginnings!

When transition numbers 9 and 11 combine in this way they bring a transcendence and transformation to a new level of existence – a metamorphosis.

Also, her 11 Year activated one of the three important birth numbers in her Personal Numerology Blueprint – Summer’s 29/11 Life Purpose Number. Anytime you are in a cycle that reflects an important number in your chart, life gets more intense.

Donna Summer was born on the last day of the year, December 31.

Number 31 people have a natural genius to think outside the box and carry a mysterious, magnetic presence. Being born on the LAST day of the year means you are able to bridge the past, present and future – the alpha and omega – in a brilliant way. These people are fascinating and highly creative.

It makes total sense then that Summer reinvented herself several times. She sang Motown songs as a teenager, switched to rock, then moved to Germany and performed in operas!

In 1975 her disco career was launched, and Summer became the first female singer with four No. 1 singles in a 13-month span.

Notice the numbers 13/4 and 1 – these two numbers connect directly into her birth blueprint, namely her 31/4 Day of Birth and her 10/1 Destiny Number.

You see, Donna Summer’s birth name adds up to the number 82, which reduces to 10/1. With that kind of Destiny, she was born to lead! 1 people want to be, well, number 1! And the number 10 showed her ability to manifest her ideas quickly, since 10 is the “Instant Manifestation” Number.

As I mentioned, Summer’s full birthday adds up to a 29/11 Life Purpose. This Master Number enhances her originality, artistry, inspiration and leadership gifts.

One final note on Summer’s personal cycles activated the day she died, May 17.

The month of May 2012 was a 16/7 Personal Month for Summer, indicating sudden and often major unexpected shifts.

The 17th of May for Summer was a 24/6 Personal Day for the legendary singer. 6 is a number of love, home and family. This indicates she transitioned back ‘home’ yesterday surrounded by loving friends and family.

May Donna Summer’s Soul continue its journey of blessing the universe with creativity, joy and passion.

Love and Blessings,

What type of analysis do you use when someone passes on. Do you look at the age of the person, do you look at the day they passed away, do you look at the destiny number? For Whitney Houston, you used her destiny number; for Donna Summer, you used the day of her death; and for Ted Kennedy, you used his age at the time of death.

Virginia, great question! I look at all of the above – and more. When someone dies, the numbers in their date of death as well as their personal cycles on that day tells the story of their life. Thus I always cross-reference all the numbers involved. The reason I don’t write about every correlation is that the article would way get too complicated! However, when I teach live or on tele-conference calls all these cross-references are unveiled and delved into.
